@JAllison96 @SYRmotsag Slight correction, both Texas and Ohio U. scored TDs. But to give up 2 TDs in 4 games is quite impressive (even more so holding Washington to two FGs after their torrid offensive start is truly fantastic)

@SYRmotsag What a blessing it was that Knowles got hurt feelings and left! The D is on another level, and not allowed a TD yet and Penn St just gave up 30 and lost a white out at night!

@ClareTCarey @MillerBeauchamp @AnnieAndrewsMD It's great that your daughter is doing well and healthy. Ironically non-steroidals (IE: ibuprofen) have their highest risk of negative effects on the developing fetus during the 3rd trimester. Very strange your OB would recommend an NSAID at all but especially during the 3rd tri.

@MillerBeauchamp @AnnieAndrewsMD Well he did. It was not for the entire 9 months, mostly in the last trimester I am totally healthy, as is my daughter. Maybe there's things outside of your personal experience in the world you cant see or understand.

No matter what Nancy Mace said on national television, it is NOT SAFE to take ibuprofen if you are pregnant. (File this under things that shouldn’t have to be said.)

⚠️TYLENOL & AUTISM—RFK Jr and Trump are wrong—the largest & best study in the world in 2.5 MILLION KIDS—found no increased autism risk with acetaminophen (aka paracetamol, Tylenol) use by the mother during pregnancy. A crude unadjusted analysis found only a preliminary 5% risk, but once you adjust for family by matching using sibling controls (who didn’t get autism), the even tiny 5% risk vaporizes to 0% 📉. (Fun fact: I used to do drug safety epidemiology and have been whistleblower against big pharma when their drugs were dangerous—so I know a few things about drug safety data). Thread 🧵.

@TomOlenik @epochhealth The "study" cited showed 1.42% of children exposed to APAP were autistic and 1.33% of children not exposed were autistic. A very small difference and a number needed to harm of 1,111. The confounding in that study is of great concern for sure.

@epochhealth We do have to keep in mind that correlation does not equal causation. A correlation simply means the root cause correlates with both variable especially when the correlation is not 1:1. It could be something they are taking acetaminophen for that is the cause.

Tylenol Use in Pregnancy Linked to 3x Higher Autism and ADHD Risk A Johns Hopkins study of umbilical cord blood found that babies with the highest acetaminophen exposure were three times more likely to be diagnosed with autism or ADHD. This wasn’t fringe science—it came from one of the most respected medical institutions in the world. So why are millions of women still being told it is risk-free? 🧵 THREAD

@TexasFootball Yes look at my aura vs (at the time) a 0-3 team that was a FCS school just a couple years early. Lets see that flex and aura vs Oklahoma's defense, then I will be impressed.

@bucksmatness @cripebill1 @JoshPateCFB @Josh_Long_23 Something that's not talked about at all is field position. The average starting field position for OSU was their own 19 (don't include the last "drive" it was the 16) UT @ 32 They had 6 drives start inside their own 20 and 3 start inside their own 5. Major disadvantage for sure.

Just finished up practice at @OhioStateFB @OhioStateOnBTN Lots of new faces, same goals. I wonder where Jeremiah and Carnell would rank in the NFL for WR1/ WR2? Would be up there. Obviously the QB battle. Different guys. Julian more pure passer, felt he was more accurate and technical operating the offense today. Lincoln is a bigger, stronger athlete. When he pulled the ball in read options you get to see a special athlete in space. Maybe we see both bc of the complimentary skills? Both getting reps with the 1s. Not concerned about that position. Either guys will be fine. Idk what defenses will be able to do to stop the offense. You have to play split safety to slow down these WRs, but I watched Klare create separation with ease and Thurman is a problem to deal with bc of his size. So do you have a LB try and guard them with no safety help? That can’t be the gameplan imo. Too good. Klare is a different talent than OSU has had at the position and the room is deepest it’s been. So maybe you play $$ or dime? That’s when OSU OL and RB will need to impose their will. They have the bodies. They have depth. Ethan Onianwa Is a freaky looking dude out there at T. Unit should compete with the top of the conference again. RB looks like a healthy rotation. CJ Donaldson reminds me oh Carlos Hyde. Physical, strong, powerful and now that he’s lost some weight he’s quicker. The room has multiple ball players they’ll utilize. Defensively- I’ll start with the LBs. most athletic group Ohio state has had. Styles and Reese are as freaky as they come and give you so much flexibility as they can cover sideline to sideline and hang with TEs. Downs is a 2 for 1 special. Meaning his instincts, IQ, and closing speed effectively give you and additional defender on the field. He can drop into coverage, leaving the flat wide open, and then close and tackle the flat before any YAC. One of many examples. DL is the key. I would put their floor as a top 5 DL, the question will be the ceiling. Can they dominate and control teams the way last years unit did? They have the size and physical attributes. Last thing that stood out is the completion. I had the thought early in drills watching Mylan Graham compete against downs. And Sanchez against the WRs. You have NFL level veterans competing against your young talent. That forces the young talent to be at their best every day. They have to learn, grow, and adapt. Spread throughout the roster and that’s how you compete and reload every year. Program is in a really good place and that credit to Ryan Day
