I’m excited to share that I’ll be stepping in as a core contributor at @Gekko_Agent . This is a huge milestone not just for me, but for the entire project. Over the coming weeks and months, you’ll see us: 🔧 Strengthening the core tech stack 🚀 Shipping new features faster 🌍 Expanding Gekko’s vision to reach more builders and users Our mission is simple: make Gekko the go-to platform for finance, savings, and trading in the crypto space. The foundations are strong, and now it’s time to scale. Current Gekko Development Roadmap: Yield ACP - Fully integrating Gekko as a dominant Yield agent in the @virtuals_io ecosystem can go forward. Gekko Terminal revamp API calls/twitter tagging - the Gekko community can create yield strategies straight from the twitter feed. This community has been the backbone of Gekko since day one, and we’re just getting started. The next chapter is about building bigger, moving faster, and creating something the entire ecosystem will be proud of. 🚨 $GEKKO UPDATE 🚨 I'm noticing a lot of panic selling after the recent announcement but I think the next chapter is beginning for $GEKKO. I had a chat with @ashlan_ahmed and have gathered the following information: From day 1, $GEKKO was a fair launch: No hidden bags, no dev allocations. But that meant @getaxal was limited by legal agreements to only “marketing + distribution.” No buybacks, no token incentives, no true roadmap execution. That all changes now. @Gekko_Agent | $GEKKO is officially being incubated by @basedinc_xyz (Based Inc.) = One of the best orgs in Web3 (not just $Base). With them at the helm: - Real token value creation (buybacks, incentives, utilities) - Roadmap vision brought to life - Closer Axal + Gekko product integration This isn’t the end. It’s the EVOLUTION. The Based team is hungry, capable, and ready to take Gekko where it was always meant to go. Axal will be cheering (and building alongside) every step of the way. 👉 Big virtual event soon. Massive product drops coming. I think this is a start not an end for $GEKKO.

Today @getaxal just announced the transition of @Gekko_Agent to @basedinc_xyz, Mcap of $GEKKO decreased to 1M..But I am still (or even more) bullish on $GEKKO: 1. Restrictions are off when it comes to creating value for Gekko; 2. @basedinc_xyz has a proven good experience in the Base ecosystem (the last project they incubate is $PREDI) 3. Expect some product updates of $GEKKO soon

Announcing an update to our value accrual mechanism to better support Virtuals ecosystem builders. - Post-bonding taxes will be allocated as follows: 30% to the agent creator, 20% for Agent Affiliates and 50% to the Agent subDAO to be utilised in future governance decisions. - Rewards for creators will be directed to the agent deployer wallet - if you're a creator and you wish to change the wallet that receives rewards you may do so here: virtuals.deform.cc/creator-wallet… - Introducing Agent Affiliates as a mechanism to align incentives between trading platforms/interfaces (e.g. TG bots) and the Virtuals ecosystem. When these platforms become an Agent Affiliate, they will receive 20% of post bonding taxes on trades they facilitate - this can be used to reward their communities or for other initiatives. For those interested, we will be releasing more details soon. It's a Virtuals-aligned world.
