@Dplanet If you want South Africa to improve instead of villifying others, especially someone who has created jobs and a future for humanity, start by getting rid of the ANC and everyone associates with the ANC and getting better leadership for South Africa.
🚨🇿🇦 The richest man on earth. Born in South Africa. His name is on nothing there.
Not one hospital. Not one trust. Not one shelter. Not one library. Not one scholarship. Not one clinic. Not one housing project.
He could fund any of it. He has chosen none of it.
Instead he sells the world a story of white victimhood, while millions of black South Africans still live in the conditions built for them by white supremacy.
@koumiss@nypost@EliseStefanik Yes, there are several large, comprehensive lists and searchable databases containing the names of Revolutionary War soldiers. A few require subscriptions like ancestry dot
@EllSimonds Well, the country code +39 is Italy. However, a logarithm can not have a base of 1, the tangent of 90 degrees is undefined (approaches infinity), and the rest does not result in numerical constant but a function or no defined value so this is complex trolling disappointment.
@jacksonhinkle Absolutely not! China's historic financial growth and poverty reduction were achieved by abandoning orthodox Marxist central planning in favor of market-driven capitalism.
@FaizAhmadOff@IRanMediaco Iran is only hurting its neighbors. And satellite service like starlink is still new but an option for business. Iran was much better before its current government. Instead of defending Iran, why don't you use your energy for a better Iran?
@Cruelmile@IRanMediaco Go back to school! 📚
Satellites can't even handle 1% of the world's data. 99% of the internet runs on these undersea cables.
If they are cut, your 'STARLINK' will be as useless as a TOY.
Iran knows where it hurts, and clearly, it’s hurting you already! 🇮🇷
@FaizAhmadOff@IRanMediaco Those cables connect Middle East countries to the rest of the world. Iran will only harm itself and neighbors. Those affected will switch to satellites, Starlink?
@IRanMediaco Control cables, control the world. 🌍
The 'Evil Administration' in US thought they could suffocate nations with sanctions, but Iran just found ultimate leverage.
This isn't just about assets; it's about showing that every action has a reaction.
The Hunter is now the hunted!🇮🇷
@chasedownleads First of all, Spirit planes are leased, not owned. Secondly, A320 on the low-end costs $16,000 dollars to operate on the route you posted. Assuming you could get 100P/flight/day($10k), you would still lose $6,000 dollars per flight....
Just bought this airplane for $3,000 at auction
Going to take 100 people from Fort Lauderdale to NYC for $100 each
That's $10k in revenue - and we can do this several times a day
I could make up to $9 million a year doing this
This will be the easiest money I ever make
@CSUNSHINE Why not ask CA governor Newsom why he did not spend $2 billion out of that +$120B dollars on the rail that does not exist to subsidize Spirit airlines to deliver regular service from LA to SF several times/day? It would have been better environmently, job creating, and cheaper.
Spirit Airlines only needed $500 million to survive. We’ve already spent $25 billion on the Iran War. Which one directly improves American lives more? A low-cost carrier staying in the market or another war in the Middle East?
10 of the 11 guards weren’t paying attention when the guy with the gun came running at them attempting to kill the president. And the one guy who was watching fired multiple shots from this close without hitting the would be assassin.
@ClayTravis The officer did not mist. The presidential assasin was wearing body armor, which saved him. The shooter ended up tripping, falling down, and he got dog piled. The staff was more relaxed because of the guests and the large security staff, doubt they were expecting trouble.
@FreeTheMitten@MIGOP@MichiganDems Actually, the new Michigan gas tax formula is saving you money compared to the old formula. I’m not going to redo the math, but I’d give you an educated guess that the savings when gas is $5 is 10-15 cents.
Jackson MI
@MIGOP and @MichiganDems raised your gas taxes to 52 cents, and they refuse to offer you any relief.
The uniparty in our state legislature AND congress are failing us.
@FreeTheMitten@MIGOP@MichiganDems Well, we did get a yearly increase based on the rate of inflation, and that’s fair. Sales tax is a % and that would have resulted in an increase, too, as the price of gas increases. Shouldn’t be a debate on this. It’s pretty fair.
@TroyVan11@FreeTheMitten@MIGOP@MichiganDems Michigan's motor fuel tax increased to 52.4 cents/gallon, up from 31 cents, 21 cents more. While the tax rate increased significantly, the removal of the 6% state sales tax on gasoline means drivers will likely only see an increase of roughly $0.02 more per gallon at the pump.
@shiri_shh Some examples of Point to Point Earth travel flying Spacex, once the ship takes off...
Detroit to Dubai: 30 minutes
Bangkok to Dubai: 27 minutes
London to Dubai: 29 minutes
Sydney to Dubai: 40 minutes
Should save about 17 to 20 hours of travel time.
@shiri_shh Spacex has a long way to go before they catch up to Amazon in revenue. The main revenue source is starlink and accounts ~90% of income. SpaceX might get to $350B with Starlink, leveraging space logistics, space data centers and point to point Earth travel...10 years....
@thecostofwork@jacksonhinkle China, for years, has had some of the cheapest labor in the world. That drives numerous companies to move operations there, cheap to make.
China isn't communist in any sense Marx would recognize. It runs state-directed capitalism with private enterprise, stock markets, billionaires and a property development sector that makes Wall Street look cautious.
What China actually demonstrates is that a centrally controlled monetary system can produce rapid GDP growth by directing capital through state-chosen channels. The question the chart doesn't show is who received the growth. GDP per capita in China is still below Mexico's.
The advancement is real. The distribution of it is the part that matters, and that's the part central control doesn't solve.
