@TiceRichard Ok, obvious question here. If this is about tactical voting and Reform loses 4%, 1% to the Tories… where the hell is the other 3% going to ?.. This implies it’s mostly to Lib Dem’s. That makes no sense.

In my honest opinion we must ask: Have YouGov been caught cheating? Have YouGov been fiddling their polls? Is this why their share price is plummeting to a 10 year low?

For avoidance of any doubt. No, we at @YouGov have not changed *any* methods in response to Farage or Reform. What we have agreed to do moving forward is publish an extra question in all our VI tables. And we *never* made/make ‘tactical voting adjustments’ to our headline VI.

I'll repeat what I wrote when you first posted this rubbish: There is no verified evidence that Reform-run councils have found £700 million in savings since taking office. Reform said it had identified about £100 million in savings in its first 100 days by cancelling or delaying projects. Also, closing Care Homes isn't a good way to save money.

Now Reform are consistently polling ahead of the Tories, would the Tactical Voting calculation not work in the opposite direction ?.. IE Tories voting Reform to keep the Left out..

Britain is toast. Even Reform won't be able to undue the damage Labour has wrought. From Tony Blair disarming the populace to Starmer putting his boot on the face of Britain, it is a straight line. This from the nation that gave us liberal democracy and most of the rights we have ensconced in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

You assume that Mr. Starmer has some sense of morality, some sense of shame. I'm not sure that he does. I don't think he has the depth of character it takes to resign. The only way he will leave office before the next election is if he is driven out. He WILL NOT go of his own accord. And, judging from the jeering of Labour MPs when Mr. Cox made his spirited, admirable and well-reasoned defense of the right to trial by jury, they lack the depth of character to vote 'no confidence' to oust him. Which is why, when the next election comes round, every MP who voted against retaining trial by jury should be voted permanently out of office.
