Can $TAO flip $SOL in market cap? Today $SOL sits around $45B $TAO sits around $3B. Still ~15x smaller. But this is a trajectory story. Over the next 2–5 years, $SOL likely keeps the lead. It already has DeFi scale, consumer apps, RWAs, memecoin velocity, and upgrades like Firedancer. $TAO is earlier. Subnets are still forming markets around inference, agents, and training. Yet just $dTAO already created a $1.5B+ subnet economy. Over the next 5–10 years the comparison changes. $SOL scales execution. $TAO scales intelligence infrastructure. If decentralized intelligence captures even 5–10% of global AI compute spend, TAO moves into the $150B–$300B range conversation. That’s where the flip becomes structurally possible. My read is simple: $SOL is the proven execution-layer blue chip. $TAO is the capital allocation layer for decentralized intelligence. Most likely outcome? TAO delivers stronger multiples in the AI era. Time to move on. That’s it.

Breaking: Michael Saylor’s Strategy is reportedly preparing a $1B allocation into Bittensor ($TAO), according to early desk chatter. Sources say the move is being framed internally as “the next evolution of digital capital,” shifting from passive store-of-value into productive AI infrastructure. The thesis: •Bitcoin = digital energy storage •TAO = decentralized intelligence production If confirmed, this would mark the first major treasury pivot from Bitcoin into a live AI network generating yield through subnet participation. Early speculation suggests: •Strategic accumulation phase already underway •Potential validator + subnet exposure, not just spot •Positioning ahead of broader institutional AI narrative No official confirmation yet. But if Saylor moves… the rest of the market usually follows. Happy April 1st.

I’m at a point where I barely look at new launches outside of Bittensor anymore Sure, there will always be a handful of projects that perform well over the coming years. But the odds of consistently finding those are incredibly small. When I compare that to $TAO subnets, the asymmetry becomes clear. In my view, the probability of subnets outperforming the vast majority of crypto is simply much higher. The hype will fade while the real-world value created will compound. That’s the edge these subnets have over almost everything else I’ve seen in my 10 years in crypto. If you want to find the real winners, I’d seriously suggest taking a deep look at subnets. Enough morning thoughts, have a great one! RV out.

OUTsider INsights #10 - Special Edition with @const_reborn, Founder of $TAO Bittensor. Today is a special edition. Episode #10. Our work focuses on the TAO Bittensor ecosystem, so we invited none other than Const, the founder himself. He accepted the invitation, offered to schedule a meeting, but in the end we followed tradition and conducted the interview in text format. Before going deeper into the interview, we discovered something interesting in common: we both love Brazil, the Amazon, and the local indigenous peoples, especially the Yawanawa. After reading this interview, I strongly suggest you take a moment to learn more about them. So, Let's go. OUTSIDER 1: Const, what’s happening with TAO Bittensor right now? Suddenly everyone is watching us. Everyone is talking about it. Why now? What changed? CONST 1: I think that the @tplr_ai Templar run played a massive role in opening up the eyeballs and unleashing the self-reinforcing flywheel of attention. There was all this lingering potential right under the surface around the incredible subnets we have on Bittensor. Templar burst the surface. I'll give full credit to the covenant guys for this one. Bravo to that team and Sam, @DistStateAndMe, in particular. OUTSIDER 2: Around 18% of the available TAO supply is currently allocated across the 128 subnets in the ecosystem. The rest is still sitting in Root or on CEXs. How would you suggest people take their first step into exploring subnets? CONST 2: Try to mine one with an agent. See if it sucks or if the agent is smarter than the subnet. OUTSIDER 3: You were at Google when Attention Is All You Need dropped and watched the transformer architecture ignite the modern AI race from the inside. CONST 3: And I met a lot of the people writing that paper too! Geniuses. OUTSIDER 4: You left anyway to build something most people thought was unrealistic at the time. CONST 4: I never used to shut up about it and they thought I was crazy. OUTSIDER 5: Today, centralized labs still control most frontier models and large-scale compute. Has Bittensor already started changing that trajectory, or are we still early in shifting real control of AI toward a decentralized alternative? CONST 5: I believe it is all about aligned incentives. When we get the tech properly aligned things will move exponentially fast. So I am not concerned about the scale difference here. I am concerned about making Bittensor's subnets perfectly aligned and working. OUTSIDER 6: You left a stable Google career, moved to Peru, and spent years building Bittensor before the world was paying attention. At some point during those early years, there must have been a moment when the rational decision would have been to stop. What was that moment for you? CONST 6: Naive rationalism would have stopped me from quitting the job. I got out of college. Way before I left the top team at Google and way before years of disaster and upsets in the early Bittensor years. The truth is that the question you are asking is badly formed. It is irrational to focus your life's effort on something that doesn’t compel you. Your state of mind is what makes your life successful. To give up on what compels you is to lose already. OUTSIDER THOUGHTS: Life is about having the courage to make difficult decisions. Make no mistake. Maybe the question was bad formulated. But your answer was simply the truth. And that’s more than enough. Thank you, Const. END. Hey! If you made it this far, you are probably already deeply involved, or at least genuinely interested in the Bittensor ecosystem. So drop your biggest insight from this interview in the comments. What made this worth reading for you? See you soon in OUT-IN #11, the second-to-last episode of this first season. Special thanks: @MarsSmuff - @taostacker

The Guy Who Made Millions From Uber Says This $300 Coin Could Hit $32,000 Jason Calacanis Predicts 200x for $TAO: Here's What You Need to Know Early Uber investor Jason Calacanis just made a bold call on #TAO during his "This Week In Startups" podcast. He believes TAO could deliver a 200x return over the next 5-10 years, targeting a $500 billion market cap. He called it the "better Bitcoin" and compared its potential to Ethereum and Solana. But here's what most people are Missing: ➤ Calacanis is NOT a neutral observer. He has invested ~$500K in TAO personally and is a consulting partner at Stillcore Capital, a fund built specifically around Bittensor. ➤ This is a classic "talking his own book" situation. What makes TAO interesting regardless: ➤ Fixed supply of 21M tokens (same as Bitcoin) ➤ First halving completed in Dec 2024 ➤ Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently endorsed the decentralized AI model ➤ Currently trading around ~$300 with ~$3B market cap ➤ Ranked #32 on CoinGecko What CryptoPatel community already did: ➤ We shared #TAOUSDT spot entry setup with chart around $150-$160 ➤ Already delivered 160%+ profit from our entry ➤ Our community was positioned well before mainstream attention A 200x from here means $500B market cap. For context, that's roughly where Ethereum sits today. Possible? Yes. Guaranteed? Absolutely not. Always check who benefits from a prediction before you act on it. TA Only. Not Financial Advice. ALWAYS DYOR.

$TAO is one of the only projects that has a reasonable chance to become a trillion dollar MC project. It’s coded.
Quinten | 048.eth@QuintenFrancois

Why $TAO will become a trillion-dollar asset: The most fascinating thing about $TAO is that its path should follow Reed's Law, and not Metcalfe's Law like $BTC. Bitcoin reached a trillion-dollar market cap in 2021. That's only 12 years after its genesis block. In theory, $TAO should do it in less than 12 years. Metcalfe’s Law: this economic law says that a network’s value grows proportionally to the square of its number of users, and applied to #Bitcoin, it means that as more people use and hold Bitcoin, its overall market value increases exponentially. Reed's Law: this law says that the value of a network grows exponentially with the number of user groups or sub-networks, and applied to Bittensor, it means that its 128 subnets exponentially amplify the network’s total value - basically a network effect of network effects. So, in theory, the network should go up in value faster than Bitcoin. In my opinion, the bet on Bittensor is asymmetrical. I believe this is going to be a trillion-dollar network. The art of investing is picking the projects that have the potential to become a trillion-dollar company, and of which the odds for this to happen are high. In my opinion, in crypto, we have Ethereum, Chainlink, and Bittensor as the main contenders to become trillion-dollar assets. The rest miss something. For example, $BNB’s existing market is too small, and $SOL doesn’t have the first-mover advantage and is not overtaking $ETH. On top of all this, Bittensor brilliantly ensures there is enormous economic incentive for the best AI projects to build on its network as a subnet. And since right now there are only 128 subnet spots, it's a Hunger Games-style competition to keep a subnet spot - because when a new team comes in and pays the $TAO fee, the least-performing subnet is out. Over time, the number of subnets will increase, but for now they keep it tight so there are more rewards for the subnets, and quality goes up dramatically because of the competition. They all earn a part of the newly mined $TAO (emission). The tokenomics are based on $BTC’s model, with a max supply of 21 million $TAO and a halving every ~4 years. Conclusion: I believe $TAO is one of the only assets in crypto that has the potential to become a trillion-dollar market cap token. And I believe it will do so in less than 12 years - the amount of time $BTC needed. Bittensor is now 4 years old. Calculations show us that $TAO is on track - following Reed's Law curve - to become a trillion-dollar asset by 2030 or 2031. It has all the ingredients: first-mover advantage in decentralized AI, a genius “Hunger Games” competition model, an economic incentives model, the right tokenomics, and more. Everything about this project is genius and brilliantly thought out.
