The winner is going to look exactly like @thinkagents in architecture. It’s going to come down to who can form and deploy capital the most efficiently… I believe that the winner is going to be a decentralized movement of free market capitalists that believe in censorship and surveillance free open source software. Their software network will be modular and interoperable and will enable permissionless innovation. 🌱->🌳

@DaddyClax @itscrazybro_ . We are aiming at pc's with dedicated gpu's for the time being, to deliver a fidelity that we want and can last , that said, gpu's (both intergrated and discrete) are getting more capable all the time, so we'll be playable on lighter hardware sooner rather than later.

The other night I had the opportunity to jump into some @VisitOPEN by @TheReadyverse and @WalkerLabs ! Having played Alphas, betas, and all sorts of Early Access in my gaming history I had a fair idea of what to expect. I've played BRs since H1Z1: KOTK including PUBG, Apex, and a fair few others! So without going into the details I'm not allowed to talk about here's some thoughts: Player Movement - Epic, and a great foundation to build on. There's some great abilities that will create the opportunity for a high skill ceiling on movement once things are polished up. This is something that i find super important in fast BRs such as Apex/Fortnite. IP - Very cool to see the different characters fighting from the IP we already know about so I'm sure there's going to be some epic new skins as other IP gets revealed and other NFT communities onboarded as well 👀 Weapons - There's a limited selection (right now), but it's a good foundation in terms of how the guns feel. With a bit of work needed to polish up small things like UI and ADS feel (these are Alpha-> Beta fixes in my mind) Teams - I only played in a playtest with 9 people (3vs3vs3) - The map we were playing on is relatively small compared to other BRs so even with this small group you normally ran into another team early on in the game! This is good, and I feel like the short sharp games might attract a different type of player than the traditional 100 player BRs. Take what you will from that. Responsiveness - I was playing from AU, I think servers were in NA ? So I had a ping of around 350ms, even with that I was able to hit things! The game dealt with the lag surprisingly well for an Alpha. Normally on 350ms ping, you feel like you're missing shots when they should hit. My shots were definitely hitting which felt satisfying. I would love to see what I could do on <50ms 😈 Outside of Zone effect - A little bit overkill in terms of the visuals, but does its job of making you want to get inside the ring. Again with a bit of polish this will have a clear difference from some other BRs with it's aesthetic while still maintaining the familiar gameplay element. Map - Only a short playtest and I was focused more on killing, but the map has great verticality which makes for some interesting team fights. It looks clean and beautiful. And yes I did see THE BENCH 😍

What was my experience testing/playing OP3N @VisitOPEN as a non-gamer? I can tell you—it was PRETTY FREAKING AWESOME. I love the battle royale concept, the easy and intuitive UI and commands, the map design (really high details), the guns, and the abilities. Smooth playing, no choppy even at MAX resolution. I absolutely adore how the GOBLINS look in the game— just as in my Blender renderings - so sick! Of course, there are many characters that look amazing (great skins), but I’ll stick to the gobbies—they’re my favorite! What I enjoyed the most, though, was playing with friends from the community — Being able to talk in voice chat and plan our next moves against other teams was such a blast. Can't wait to do it again!!!
