A Palestinian orthopedic nurse was shot in the knee by Israeli soldiers for refusing to stop operating on a wounded patient. He is later taken prisoner by the Israelis for 45 days. When the Israelis confirmed he isn't Hamas, they took out his eye and dropped him on the other side of the border, forcing him to crawl for 3km...

The @Irishheart_ie is enormously grateful to Minister @DonnellyStephen and @ColmBurkeTD for increasing the legal age of sale of tobacco to 21. It's another nail in the coffin of Big Tobacco and will have a huge long-term impact on Ireland's toll of 12 deaths a day from smoking.
