I have said it before and I will say it again: if anyone truly believes their ancestors committed discrimination and have the evidence for it, then go ahead and seek atonement. Donate your worldly possessions and head to the Himalayas for a lifelong penance. But do not measure the rest of us by your scale. Do not push an entire society and nation under the reservation bus just to satisfy the guilt of your own forefathers. Your personal sense of sin is not a mandate to paralyze the future of an entire country.

‼️Update on Rohith Vemula Bill‼️ As per the latest information published in "The Hindu" (dated April 29, 2026), we have the following information👇 1. OBC, minorities are excluded from the final draft. Bill is restricted to SC/ST students & staff. 2. The definition as well as the list of discriminatory activities defined in the bill, look exactly similar to UGC 2012 provisions. 3. Effectively this bill looks like it is UGC 2012 regulations & SC/ST act combined. Therefore, It's duplicate to whatever provisions are already existing. So there is absolutely no need of this bill. Also, data doesn't suggest any rampant discrimination against SC/ST students which warrant such overzealous laws. Such bills only create unnecessary fear and have a huge potential for misuse. Just like SC/ST act. We should oppose such one-sided bills/laws and if passed, we would definitely challenge this in Court.
