Massively disappointed at finding this @CWOA @MerlinVenues no obvious prior warning either that seems to be a long closure despite it being closed for several days. Vampire was one of the main reasons we wanted to come here as well.

Decision to postpone PL/EFL games is daft enough but not as bad as the decision to cancel grassroots football. Kids have missed enough sport through Covid, it’s great weather but will soon turn & games will be cancelled & big missed opportunity for football at all levels to unite

@TheBarmyArmy The abuse I saw aimed at the Stewards and Security staff was appalling, especially when they collapsed a beer snake behind. The movement during overs was also awful, especially behind the bowlers arm never known it so bad before.

I feel more dejected and disappointed by the behaviour of the English fans (beating up Italians, rushing gates, trashing London etc) than I do about the result of the game. It’s pathetic, and such a shame that this behaviour overshadows a courageous performance.
