The TLDR: Banning stablecoin yield would do little to boost bank lending, impose costs on consumers, and concerns around deposit flight are overstated. The data: At baseline, eliminating yield increases lending by just 0.02% (~$2.1B) and results in a net welfare loss. On deposit flight: The report finds those concerns are “quantitatively small,” noting most stablecoin reserves remain within the banking system, with only a limited share truly removed from lending activity. “In short, a yield prohibition would do very little to protect bank lending, while forgoing the consumer benefits of competitive returns on stablecoin holdings,” the executive summary reads. You must be removed I did some reasech and I cant find not one American Born Congress person who has continusly spewed more anti American views against America, than you and alot of the Naturlized Congressmen and women. That in itself should be reason to be removed from Congress. To be a US Congress woman and to put your Birth Country ahead of the country you serve is appalling, AND VERY Un-American if a US military personnel were to speak the way you do. its automatic Court Martial why are you or any other congress person different. We took the same oath. Guess Money plays a bigger role when you in Congress.

Most of you are still misunderstanding what David Schwartz meant when he said “$XRP can’t be cheap.” He wasn’t talking about your bag. He was explaining how the system actually works. If a bank needs to move $10M, it doesn’t care what $XRP costs. At $1 → it uses more XRP At $1,000 → it uses less XRP Same $10M gets moved either way. That’s the part people keep missing. The network isn’t built around price. It’s built around moving value fast with enough liquidity to handle the flow. When he says “can’t be cheap,” he’s talking about scale. If $XRP is handling serious volume, liquidity has to match it. That’s market structure. You’re thinking like an investor. The system uses $XRP like infrastructure. Two completely different lenses.
