FSD Europe Update 🇪🇺 The March 20th rumors are shifting. Sources indicate that European regulators are highly satisfied with the recent test results! ✅ A few minor, specific software tweaks have been requested to finalize the approval process. The new target date for the green light? April 10th. 🗓️ We are officially in the final stretch for a historic rollout. The finish line is in sight. 🏁 #FSD #Tesla #EV #AutonomousDriving #FutureTech $TSLA

FSD border crossing notification in 2026.2.9 update in Europe 🇪🇺 Why would Tesla release a software update like this before an approval is given? Just to be ready in case it does get approved or confident it will get approved? You tell me

BREAKING!! 🇪🇺 FSD Message "FSD (Supervised) will become unavailable" already active in 2026.2.9 when crossing country border. This was while using EAP (Navigate on Autopilot) from Italy to Austria.

Over the past month, I've been extensively testing XPENG VLA 2.0. My deepest feeling is that it possesses the intuition of an "experienced driver", and this represents a cross-generational level of experience. THE FUTURE is now within reach. From HD maps to mapless, from rule-based systems to end-to-end mass production, and now to the VLA 2.0 paradigm, XPENG has always been exploring and leading the way. On March 2nd, we look forward to igniting the "DeepSeek moment" for the autonomous driving industry. Exciting news: Volkswagen will be the debut customer for XPENG VLA 2.0 model. This demonstrates that China's expertise in smart driving has earned global recognition and is now positioned to define the industry's next chapter. Technology must ultimately serve the people. As XPENG VLA 2.0 enters the "mass production stage", we hope to make high-level autonomous driving a standard that everyone can easily trust. Driving at night, do you dare to let go? For beginners, is it tiring? Safety and efficiency, can we have both? These real-world scenarios are the starting point and the ultimate goal of our technology development. What are your expectations or "unresolved frustrations" regarding autonomous driving? Welcome to leave a comment. See you next Monday!

Most of the videos are boring. As they should. Boring is safe and safe is good. FSD is currently being tested by RDW on roads and on closed test tracks. Any mentioning of dates or timelines are rumours. Nothing more nothing less. There is nothing left to do than just wait for thenews to come out

🔥🇪🇺🇯🇵 UNECE has officially paved the way for wide approval of Tesla FSD (Supervised) and Unsupervised systems in Europe, Japan, and many other countries. The draft regulation will be submitted to the UNECE’s World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) for adoption at its next session (June 23–26, 2026). If adopted, the global regulation would enter into force immediately, meaning Tesla could demonstrate compliance in the following weeks. Here the details: The "Global Rulebook" for Autonomy: Why the New UN GTR Matters for Tesla The path to a driverless future just got a lot clearer—and a lot more regulated. A new proposal from the UN (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRVA/2026/2) outlines the first worldwide harmonized safety provisions for Automated Driving Systems (ADS). For Tesla, which is currently pivoting its entire business toward FSD (Full Self-Driving), this document is the "North Star" for legal compliance in Europe, Asia, and beyond. 1️⃣ Transitioning from "Supervised" to "Unsupervised" The UN document defines the requirements for systems where the driver is no longer "in the loop." • For FSD Supervised: The GTR reinforces requirements for Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) and how the car must communicate its status. Tesla’s cabin camera and "nag" system are directly impacted by these harmonized standards for human-machine interaction. • For FSD Unsupervised: This is where the document gets critical. It sets the bar for Minimal Risk Maneuvers (MRM). If the hardware fails, the car must be able to pull over safely without human intervention. Tesla’s shift to a "fail-operational" architecture (redundant steering, power, and braking) is no longer just a design choice—it is becoming a global legal requirement. 2️⃣ The End of "In-Vehicle Learning" during Driving One of the most specific clauses in the document (Paragraph 41.n) addresses Artificial Intelligence. It states that ADS software should not include online in-vehicle learning. * Tesla’s Advantage: Tesla already does its "learning" in the cloud via its massive GPU clusters (Dojo/H100s) and then pushes fixed "weights" to the car via Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. This UN regulation validates Tesla’s approach: Learn in the lab, validate, and then ship a frozen version to the fleet. 3️⃣ The "Multi-Pillar" Validation Approach Tesla famously relies on "shadow mode" and fleet data. The UN is now standardizing a "Multi-Pillar" approach for certification: 1. Simulation/Virtual Testing 2. Test Track Testing 3. Real-world Testing 4. Audit of Manufacturer Safety Processes Tesla will need to map its vast "fleet data" into these specific regulatory buckets to prove that FSD is statistically safer than a human driver to the satisfaction of international regulators. 4️⃣ Data Storage and Post-Crash Behavior The proposal mandates DSSAD (Data Storage System for Automated Driving). In the event of a crash, the car must be able to prove exactly who was in control (the ADS or the human) and why. For Tesla, this means their internal telemetry logs must become even more standardized to meet UN-level forensic requirements. 5️⃣ Harmonization = Scalability Perhaps the biggest win for Tesla is Harmonization. Currently, Tesla has to deal with a patchwork of rules (different in Germany than in Japan or the US). A Global Technical Regulation (GTR) means Tesla can build one software stack that meets a single, high bar, allowing them to roll out FSD "Unsupervised" across dozens of countries simultaneously once the tech is ready.

Hi @chuckcook, this is very well managed by other applications which are focusing on weather. The best example is @Windycom. It is driven by enthusiasts who focus on the best weather forecast. The radar is shown 1 hour in the past and 1 hour into the future. That is reasonable time to show. If you like to show longer forecasts, you are stealing a work from a witch ;)

This is a good week to discuss the issues I have with the @Tesla weather map. As a professional pilot I take pride in knowing my weather, and weather hazards, as I fly and operate in them all the time. As a Floridian I don't deal with snow much while driving, but everyone else up north does. The snag below is what a typical weather map showing precipitation SHOULD look like. You need to know and be able to see where the precipitation is rain/ice/snow. It is very important. Currently the Tesla weather map only shows this as green/yellow/red which makes it all look like rain. Additionally, the Tesla weather map is only a now/future cast, which is rather annoying for a weather geek, we prefer the history and now cast more than a forcasters prediction of where it might be in the future. @Tesla_AI

@xTeslaJigsawCan you share more details so we stop guessing? 1. Uncut footage + telemetry from the Tesla behind Mercedes: drive mode, pedal inputs, speed when Mercedes braked? (We've seen Mark Rober's controversial Wile E. Coyote-style wall test: youtube.com/watch?v=somevi… or search "Mark Rober Can You Fool a Self-Driving Car?" – tied to Luminar/LiDAR promo.) 2. Any Mercedes footage/telemetry showing what triggered the sudden brake? Speculation: - Tesla tailgating closely, accelerator down → AEB only mitigates at last second. - Mercedes might have seen the cameraman in open rear as a pedestrian and braked hard (edge case for their AEB?).

A Mercedes CLA's emergency braking system falsely triggered, causing a Tesla Model 3 to rear-end it. This happened during filming for a @whatcar test, but there's more to the story than this one incident...
