It just doesn’t make any sense. Labour MPs voted against a national rape gangs inquiry because according to their Safeguarding Minister local inquires are “more effective”. But Labour councils are ACTIVELY BLOCKING those very same local inquires from taking place - like they did yesterday in Bradford. We had a chance to put an end to this vacuum of accountability today.
