@Princemoye1 So all you could mention here is his role in End Sars protest? So he has never achieved anything again apart from Lekki tollgate massacre according to you?

IGP Tunji Disu, a great ICT man and tracker. He once told me, Muyiwa a maa mu gbogbo won. (meaning, Muyiwa, we will pick all of them). During his time as Commander RRS in lagos, he played prominent roles in curbing crimes, and managing the popular End Sars violent protest, professionally, friendly, and maturedly. He really assisted me, then, as the PPRO Lagos. Soft spoken, but firm in policing. Guidance and protection always, boss. Ire o.

Really strange! It is intellectually puzzling that a man you repeatedly describe as politically irrelevant continues to command this much of your time, analysis, and agitation. Serious minds do not wage prolonged battles against insignificance. When months of essays, statistics, and denunciations are deployed against a supposed nonentity, the effort begins to contradict the argument. For if Peter Obi truly amounted to nothing, silence would have been the most devastating rebuttal. Instead, this relentless fixation creates the opposite impression - that the man you dismiss occupies a far larger space in the national conversation than you are willing to concede. But beyond politics lies a deeper truth: no human being writes the final chapter of another man’s destiny. We are not God. However vigorously one tries to diminish a fellow man, the ultimate verdict belongs to time, history, and Providence. #PeterObi #Obidients #NigerianPolitics #PoliticalAccountability #HistoryWillJudge

Whenever I see pictures or videos of the Senate President, Godswill Obot Akpabio, alongside other distinguished senators paying condolence visits to the families of their departed colleagues, I pause and reflect on one thing: God truly loves Akpabio. Here is a man whom enemies wished death upon. A man whose detractors went as far as celebrating his death while he was still alive. Yet today, he stands strong, leading, serving, and showing up with dignity in moments that require compassion and responsibility. That alone is a testimony that no amount of hatred can override divine protection. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. May God comfort their families and strengthen their hearts in this difficult time. And may He continue to protect Akpabio, his colleagues, and all their loved ones, granting them wisdom, good health, long life, and the grace to serve with honor. Prof. Sandra Duru

@thecableng @renoomokri I understand sir, let's start with @aedcelectricity and get Abuja and its environs on constant power supply since it is under your direct supervision. Whether 11kva or 33vka or 33kva special, Abuja still lives under darkness

TONY ELUEMUNOR: "I don’t know exactly what Mr. Peter Obi said about Tanzania, but I am not about to take whatever Mr. Omokri attributed to Obi as anything near the truth because of his antecedents. He once made sundry accusations about President Tinubu, calling him all sorts of names except a child of God, only to recant. But then, if for his efforts he emerged an Ambassador-designate, why would he stop lying when lying could be a highly remunerated “job” in Nigeria? For instance, I keyed in “Peter Obi on Tanzania’s electricity supply” and guess what popped out? “In April 2024, Peter Obi lauded Tanzania for its improved electricity supply, noting its ability to power major cities and achieve high, stable access. He highlighted the country’s reported, though debated, surplus power generation, urging Nigeria to emulate such progress." thecable.ng/reno-mocking-o…

@hadizel Being in polygamy, apart from small issues mostly from sheer jealousy, it’s actually more beneficial to women than men , you get more time to chase whatever fancies you. Highly recommended for career women

A few days ago, the hot topic on social media was polygamy. Allow me to add my two cents (two kobos?) to the discourse. There are several types of marriages that are being practised around the world. These include monogamy (one man, one wife), polygyny (one man, two or more wives) and polyandry (one woman, two or more husbands). Though polyandry exists, it is rare. All these marriages are valid depending on the environment. And who is to say that one is superior to the other? After all, even same-sex marriages are legitimate in some places. In Nigeria, we practise monogamy and polygyny. I will subsequently refer to polygyny as polygamy because that’s what we are used to calling it. My husband was raised in a polygamous family, while I, by contrast, grew up in a monogamous one. When we agreed to get married, I envisaged a monogamous marriage, even though the subject was never discussed. Now I find myself in a polygamous marriage, not by choice initially, but subsequently by choice. I say ‘not by choice initially’ because the transformation of our marriage from a monogamous one to a polygamous one was my husband’s choice and not mine. I say ‘subsequently by choice’ because deciding to remain in the marriage was my choice and nobody else’s. We got married under Islamic law and under that law, a woman reserves the right to opt out of a marriage, even without giving a reason. One condition, though, is that she must return the dowry that was paid to her. (Could that have influenced my decision to stay? Because, frankly, by that time, I don chop my dowry clean mouth. LOL). Anyway, jokes apart, it is often said that ‘when life gives you lemons you make lemonade’ and that’s what I’ve tried to do. I decided to look at the good side of things. Let me list below some of the advantages of polygamy for a first wife: · You’ll have more time to focus on your career, your interests and do what you’ve always wanted to do. · You’ll have more time for your children. · If you, like me, are of the same age as your husband, and you’ve both started experiencing the signs of old age, you won’t be expected to rub his back. Because… who will rub yours? · The wahala of In-laws will be divided and shared. By contrast however, apart from one thing, I cannot think of any advantage of polygamy for a man. But then again, I understand that that one thing is very important. Really, at the end of the day, it is: ‘To Each His Own’. Let’s keep striving to be happy. We only have one life to live.

EVEN ME I SHOCK! It was just a casual call to Elrufaists and Mallamites resident within Abuja FCT and environs, and e choke. East, West, North and South. Three days and still counting. Meanwhile, this is a man who is not currently occupying any government or political office to dispense any favours to anyone and who has not declared interest to run for any office. The simple but humbling lessons that I have learnt from this particular experience and from ardently following Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, for which is why I make this post, are: ▪︎ If you are privileged to hold a public or political office, whether elected or appointed, do well to deliver to the best of your ability. You may not get all the job done and you may not satisfy or meet everyone's expectations, but if you perform exceptionally, the people will know. It does not require campaign, propaganda or lobbying. Your records will speak for you. ▪︎ Again, do not be afraid to call it as it is and to be different. Be consistent and do not be afraid to offend people with the truth. Many may hate and despise you for it, but trust me, most honest Nigerians love truthful and courageous people, even if they do not like their particular style or the particular truth they tell. They know that the truth is what will ultimately set Nigeria free. Then, to those who say Southerners and Christians hate El-Rufai, I say, move over please!!! You have no clue. Lies and half truths, and social media propaganda and mischief remain just those. They have nothing to do with the truth and reality. So, wake up and stop hating and needlessly hurting yourself. Anyway, we do not know what tomorrow holds. Tomorrow is in God's hands. We are just pencils in the hands of God. Komai a hannun Allah ne! #ProudlyElrufaist #ADC #Standby #EyesOnTheBall #GodBlessNigeria ©️ Uche Diala

As requested by my darling big sister, Idowu O Faith, a woman who lives, breathes, and teaches PATRIOTISM in its purest form. I proudly call her a consistent patriotic Nigerian 🇳🇬, not by noise, but by conscience, courage, and conviction. In the spirit of truth, national dignity, and collective responsibility, a necessary correction has been made. LIETASHA, the most popular and most Googled serial liar, false-allegation merchant, and media manipulation expert in Nigeria, is hereby rebranded. The deceptive cloak of green-white-green patriotism has been stripped away. No more hiding behind national colors while betraying national values. From today henceforth, the symbol changes. Not green. Not white. Not Nigeria. It’s now a YELLOW parrot! Yellow for caution. Yellow for exposure. Yellow for deceit laid bare in daylight. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the newly identified symbol of legislative embarrassment and media chaos. The Senate Crazy Yellow Parrot. This parrot is fantastic in deception!🦜 Let the records reflect it. Let the archives remember it. And let patriotism never again be used as camouflage for lies. Prof. Mgbeke
