Wells Fargo, $90,000 to Thune: Banks undocumented immigrants via ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) accounts — a significant revenue stream. Wells Fargo has an active ITIN mortgage lending program that extends home loans to non-citizens without Social Security Numbers. Strict ID verification norms that SAVE Act signals would threaten this customer base. Also a major H-1B employer for technology roles.

Hello Senator Thune, Let's expose what you're really doing with "reconciliation." You announced it yesterday, eleven months after the House passed the SAVE America Act. You're not trying to pass this bill. You're trying to kill it in a way you can blame on process. Here's how we know: Reconciliation requires the Senate parliamentarian to rule that provisions are "budgetary." Citizenship verification is not budgetary. Photo ID mandates are not budgetary. The parliamentarian will gut the bill. Then you'll shrug and say "we tried." We see through you. Meanwhile, you WON'T use the tools that actually work: Rule XIX limits each senator to two speeches per legislative day. Keep the Senate in continuous session, file cloture daily, and the filibuster exhausts in ~12-20 days. You dismissed it as "complicated." Because if you tried and succeeded, you'd have to actually pass the bill. Harry Reid nuked the filibuster in 2013 when he wanted results. Mitch McConnell changed Senate rules THREE times and canceled the August recess. Chuck Schumer used reconciliation within months on a 50-50 Senate. You have 53 seats. You've changed nothing, canceled nothing, and waited eleven months. Now let's talk donors: • Goldman Sachs: $150K to you - top H-1B user • Google: $75K - lobbies against E-Verify • Meta: $72.5K - Zuckerberg's FWD[.]us pushes mass immigration • Wells Fargo: $90K - banks undocumented immigrants Same corporations sponsor Punchbowl News, where you sit for "Fly Out Days" which nobody watches except Congress staffers and K Street lobbyists who pays premium bucks for legislative intelligence. Their reporter then telegraphs to the audience the SAVE Act "will ultimately fail." Corporate money flows to you AND to the outlet that frames your inaction as inevitable. We see the loop. You called grassroots anger a "paid influencer ecosystem." YOU are the paid influencer. You take the wrong side of a 80% issue because you are indistinguishable from a K Street mouthpiece, and an ineffective one to boot who won't bend the rules to get anything passed. What we want: 1. Force a real talking filibuster. 2. Stop hiding behind process. 3. Pass the SAVE America Act. YOU will become the reason that we will have our butts kicked in midterms. Not Candace Owens, not Nick Fuentes, not anyone else. You and you alone, and all because you want to make the 200 or so viewers of Punchbowl Fly Out Days happy. You're living in a K Street information bubble, addicted to the comforts and praises of lobbyists masquerading as journalists. You mistake the steak and martini dinners you get invited to as your own constituents. You are not "moderate." The SAVE America Act has 98% support among Republicans. Name one other thing that has 98% support. You are an extreme minority who prides himself on being a calm leader, when in reality you are well in the running for the most ineffective Majority leader of all time. Prove me wrong. Do the bare modicum of effort. Not symbolic. Actual effort. Cancel the recess. Get SAVE America Act passed.

They Passed Over American Doctors The biggest misunderstanding in the U.S. healthcare debate is that America does not train enough doctors. We do. The real failure is what happens after medical school. Each year, thousands of U.S. medical school graduates fail to match into a residency. In 2024, roughly 7 percent of U.S. MD seniors and a higher share of DO graduates went unmatched. These are not unqualified students. They completed medical school, passed required exams, and accumulated substantial debt, yet were denied the final step required to practice medicine. At the same time, thousands of international medical graduates also matched into U.S. residency programs. This has led some to argue that foreign-trained doctors are simply “better.” That claim misses the point entirely. Whether some foreign-trained physicians are excellent is not in dispute. Many are. But a rational healthcare system does not intentionally cap training slots in a way that locks out qualified domestic graduates, then declare a shortage and import replacements. Other major countries align medical school enrollment with residency or supervised training capacity so graduates can complete training and serve patients. They do not deliberately create artificial scarcity. Yet they have and it was the plan all along. The best way to convince the public that the foreign labor influx is normal is to convince Americans there is a shortage and replace our highest skilled and wage earners first. As if they are here to save the day... we have 340 million people in this country there isn't a single profession we cannot insource. Instead of finishing the residency of doctors we have already trained, give those slots to foreign born instead while allowing foreigners to practice in almost two dozen states that do not require residency. Residency pay is standardized within programs, and duty hours are capped nationally. The issue is not compensation. The issue is scarcity and leverage. You cannot practice medicine in the United States without completing residency. When residency slots are capped, programs fill every position they are allowed to fund. If qualified Americans go unmatched, the system does not pause or correct itself. It simply moves on to the next eligible applicants. The true choke point is not medical school. It is federally funded residency capacity. Medicare funding for graduate medical education has been effectively capped since the late 1990s, while medical school enrollment has expanded significantly. Congress allowed the front end of the pipeline to grow without expanding the training capacity required to absorb it. The result is a structural bottleneck. Every unmatched American graduate represents years of education, public investment, and personal sacrifice that never translates into patient care. The country produces doctors it refuses to finish training. The Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act of 2025 would add 14,000 residency slots over seven years. That helps, but it does not come close to correcting decades of underinvestment. Until residency slots are expanded at scale, the United States will continue graduating qualified doctors who never get to practice medicine. Hospitals will then cite physician shortages, not because doctors do not exist, but because the system failed to train enough of them. There is NO shortage of talent. It is a shortage of residency slots. And that shortage is policy. There are American institutions actively lobbying against the placement of Americans. This NYPD patriot just dropped STRAIGHT TRUTH on how the Irish worked hard, spoke English and BUILT the city THAT'S the kind of immigrant we liked — not 3rd world pirate TRASH that want Sharia Law! "The police department was predominantly Irish. Luck of the draw, no one wanted to hire any Irish, but they spoke the English language, so they ended up taking the job and built the city!" Indians have quietly risen to become the #3 largest group of illegal aliens in the United States. Nearly 800,000 officially estimated but its likely more. Behind only Mexico and El Salvador. Many came on visas and simply overstayed or violated terms, then got placed into jobs through tight ethnic pipelines. What surprises a lot of people: certain Chinese, Venezuelan, and Haitian groups are also climbing fast in the rankings. The old narrative that it's mostly desperate border crossers from one region is outdated. The system now pulls from multiple pipelines, legal entry then illegal stay, organized placement while copying and sharing ID's. Numbers don't lie. Patterns don't lie. If you see illegal aliens working at your job site, report it to ICE. ICE Tip Line: 866-347-2423 (anonymous, 24/7) Online: ice.gov/webform/ice-ti…

Universities are discovering a new trick. Take a non-STEM degree. Label it STEM. Why? Because STEM status unlocks 24-month OPT extensions, giving international graduates up to 3 years of work authorization without sponsorship. And the “STEM” coursework includes things like: • Project Management • Cost Benefit Analysis This isn’t really about science or engineering. It’s about expanding the OPT labor pipeline. @SenEricSchmitt @RepGosar @chiproytx @StephenM @SusieWiles

new: American University (@americanU) has re-branded their Master of Public Administration degree to "STEM Master of Public Policy", thus making it eligible for OPT. Needless to say, Public Policy masters degrees are not STEM, and classifying them as such is fraudulent. The front page of the degree page advertises that "this allows non-U.S. nationals to qualify for a 24-month Optional Practical Training (OPT) extension beyond program completion, providing up to three years of work authorization in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship" STEM classes that make it eligible for this classification include: "Project Management" and "Cost Benefit Analysis"

The heinously dangerous antisemitism and anti-Americanism that Khalil brought and wreaked havoc to Columbia’s campus has now been brought straight to the Mayor’s house for all New Yorkers to see. You don’t get a Socialist Antisemite Mayor without the moral and academic rot from our universities fueled partially by illegal foreign students like Khalil. I cover this in my upcoming book Poisoned Ivies publishing on April 14th. Khalil should have been deported a long time ago.

Yesterday, white supremacist Jake Lang organized a protest outside Gracie Mansion rooted in bigotry and racism. Such hate has no place in New York City. It is an affront to our city’s values and the unity that defines who we are. What followed was even more disturbing. Violence at a protest is never acceptable. The attempt to use an explosive device and hurt others is not only criminal, it is reprehensible and the antithesis of who we are. I want to thank the brave men and women of the NYPD who acted quickly to keep New Yorkers safe. Our officers ran toward danger without hesitation, demonstrating once again the courage and dedication it takes to protect this city every single day. My administration is closely monitoring the situation and I remain in close contact with our Police Commissioner.
