There is a reason why you see Crimson Desert posted everywhere you turn on X. It's because, despite everything, Crimson Desert is the hottest game property right now and there is a LOT of interest in this game.

The more i play Crimson Desert. The more its a 9 out of 10 game. So far the best game this year alongside Resident evil 9. What a game. Having so much fun with, its a breath of fresh air tbh. Cant put it down. Ohhh. Did I mention before that the game is freaking BEAUTIFUL 🔥🔥💙 #PS5Pro

I had a really cool and unexpected Elden Ring-like moment in Crimson Desert. I didn't even see him until that step he took when I swung the camera up.

Here it is, my annual reminder: don't spray spring dandelions with roundup. One flower can be visited by 100+ bees, and your chemical bullshit will kill all of them. If you hate dandelions so much, just pull them. Or leave them alone. It's not like they're going to shank you as you walk by.

Crimson Desert really has become the ultimate filter between "gamers" and "tourists". Tourists like the hand holding, the yellow paint, the obvious click here, go there... Gamers like the friction, the puzzles, and the "what ifs"... It's like anime going mainstream, where stories and topics have become far more "tame". Ever since games have become far more mainstream than in the 2000's, games have become simpler, and gameplay mechanisms much more obvious. In the 90's, many games were incredibly difficult, and that's the point. It wasn't the kind of reaction/combat gameplay like hollow knight, or elden ring. Things were obtuse, no quest markers, and where you had to go next was not obvious. You had to think and reason about what the developers were trying to do. Today, tourists encounter a simple puzzle that most gamers have zero problem with, and they crash out and quit. I think this is why Crimson Desert won't ever gain the massive audience it could get because the bar of entry is a little high.

25+ hours into Crimson Desert and I'm SHOCKED that these Korean devs have the AUDACITY to create a map so large brimming with things to do. First of all, fk them for that TRASH opening but now that the gloves are off, this is filling my exploration itch to the max 🤗 9.7/10🗿

Crimson Desert is revealing something about a lot of modern gamers that was also revealed in a way with Starfield. They need their hands held with lots of cinema level cutscenes and scripted events, or else they can't find any fun in certain games.

That first puzzle is gonna be a litmus test in Crimson Desert to determine if you grew up on old school video games or you only played Sony cinematic games that hold your hand A lot of people exposing themselves on Twitter for being the latter

"Press Square to jump" > Hold Square to interact > Jumping at people "Press L3 to use Ultra Hand" > Couches > Maybe I'm standing in the wrong spot > Press L3 on ledge, sits down > Press L3 against wall, climbs it > wtf > Look up on youtube > You have to HOLD L3 > Turn a crank > Nothing happens > Detatch > Look it up on youtube > You have to turn the crank and then WAIT for a platform to appear Okay fuck this game

So yeah crimson desert was a waste of money runs horrible on playstation even on performance mode and feels like there is too much to look at I'm stuck trying to do arm wrestling at the beginning. Probably shouldn't have bought this game

Last comment on statins for a while. It's peculiar how one of the safest drugs we have for one of the most common deadly conditions arouses such emotion and vitriol? I used to be one of the hecklers, too. What fixed me was reading primary sources, not grifters selling something.
