FSD 14.1, the first in the v14 series, has officially started rolling out to customers! Many follow up releases, with significant improvements, are in the works. These should ship through the rest of this year. Enjoy, and looking forward to your feedback!

NEWS: Tesla has just made a HUGE update to its U.S. website. Tesla now says you only need to "order by September 30" to take advantage of Federal EV credit. This means the vehicle doesn’t have to be delivered by September 30 — as long as you place the order by that date, you can take delivery weeks or even months later and still take advantage of the credit! So while the Federal EV credit still ends on Sept 30, this new flexibility in eligibility and being able to take delivery later will help Tesla's Q4 vehicle delivery numbers, and enable a lot more people to use the $7,500 federal EV credit. This change comes after the IRS updated its language for the EV credit on its website, and applies to all eligible EV makers/vehicles.

@elonmusk @greggertruck Please put some pressure on FSD in Europe. We are running ancient software here compared to what you have in the US and APAC.

Daddy is very much home. Am burning the midnight oil with Optimus engineering on Friday night, then redeye overnight to Austin arriving 5am, wake up to have lunch with my kids and then spend all Saturday afternoon in deep technical reviews for the Tesla AI5 chip design. Fly to Colossus II on Monday to walk the whole datacenter floor, review transformers and power production (excellent progress), depart midnight. Then up to 12 hours of back to back meetings across all Tesla departments, but particular focus on AI/Autopilot, Optimus production plans and vehicle production/delivery.

@tesla_na In Europe too? Many would switch and take advantage of the new low rates - but hesitate because FSD transfer isn’t available.

@YunTaTsai1 The progress on FSD in the US has been astonishing - but it feels like europe is driving the software from 6yrs ago. Please give some love to Europe. We dont have the regulations for driverless yet, but to give us a supervised solution that are within regulations would be great.

Engineers from other companies mostly show off their free lunch and perks. In contrast, we are showing off our monumental achievements. Thank you all our most valuable Tesla communities for giving us honest and constructive feedbacks, from the first release of FSD to Robotaxi launch today. Your support helps us grow and innovate. The journey has just begun. 🙏

Tesla Charging
Tesla Charging@TeslaCharging·
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority ("NJTA") has chosen a sole third-party charging provider to serve the New Jersey Turnpike and is not allowing us to co-locate. As a result, NJTA requested 64 existing Supercharger stalls on the New Jersey Turnpike to not be renewed and be decommissioned. We have been preparing for 3 years for this potential outcome by building 116 stalls off the New Jersey Turnpike, ensuring no interruption for our customers. The map below outlines the existing replacement Superchargers, and Trip Planner will adjust automatically. We offered the NJTA above-market commercial terms, including offering to build Superchargers at all New Jersey service plaza and with equipment upgrades, such as screens and NACS with CCS1 "magic docks". Tesla always advocates for more infrastructure and co-location with additional third-party charging providers. This drives down costs through optionality, and accelerates EV adoption by having sufficient capacity to shoulder peaks. We expect that ~30 times more fast-charging capacity is needed to get to full EV adoption. NJTA's decision to remove, rather than add, critical charging infrastructure is a setback for New Jersey's EV adoption goals of 100% Zero-Emission New Car Sales by 2035. It removes Turnpike access to the most reliable (99.9% uptime), least congested (<1% waiters) and cost-effective (~30% lower $/kWh) charging. We are still willing to invest in New Jersey Turnpike sites if @NJTurnpike or @GovMurphy want to reverse this decision. Otherwise, we will continue to build out the best possible infrastructure off the Turnpike to serve @DelValTesla and the EV drivers of New Jersey.

@elonmusk 7,000 politically connected NGOs are getting 90% of all taxpayer money meant for nonprofits. Roughly $300 Billion in government money flows to nonprofits every year with zero transparency on where that money goes. NGOs are a SCAM!

Actually Smart Summon is 🔥🔥
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

BREAKING: After years of waiting, @Tesla has officially launched Actually Smart Summon (ASS), its next-gen Smart Summon feature, to normal owners! Tesla: "Buckle up for the ride of your life, except, surprise! You're not in the car. ASS (Actually Smart Summon) allows your vehicle to come to you, or head to a spot that you choose, all on its own. It's like magic, but with more tech and less wand-waving."

NEWS: Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson suggests that it will take Tesla until 2032 to match its current EV efficiency. "Lucid has a significant EV technology advantage. If the closest competitor were to continue their rate of progress, it would take many years to match Lucid today."
