If you watched the game carefully, this wasn't a very encouraging performance for Wagler, unfortunately. He cannot beat anyone off the dribble, can barely get a shot off in the paint, and is getting pushed around on defense. He is very skilled and plays hard. But years away. It's not a crisis, I just don't really understand LAC's logic in drafting him at #5. The idea is supposed to be that he's a better fit next to Garland...but he's unlikely to play major minutes for at least two seasons, so who cares?

AJ looked good in the first half, absolute attack mode. Supremely confident. But he has far more Summer League help than DPeterson has. Still say DPeterson will be a little better.
