But since 4.7 I’ve caught it lying to me or going on completely wild tangents in the wrong direction five or six times. Was not an issue with 4.6.

@D_Capri @Layton_Gott @zeeg I have to disagree I’ve been using both a lot (only 4.7 since its release) and 4.7 is definitely superior, makes fewer mistakes, one shots tasks most of the time where 4.6 would have started looping until I interrupted it - i loved 4.6 but 4.7 is def smarter

just asked the team to turn off opus 4.7 no true gains in performance, burning compute (and money) honestly, imo, a bad release from Anthropic

@Layton_Gott @zeeg I’m curious. Do you find it better? My teammates are Claude ride or die but all but one have been forced to stop until they update. Codex has always been my trusty greybeard. I do miss my Claude tho. Different vibe
