This is the @itvnews coverage this evening of the brutal racist sexual attack on a Sikh woman in her 20s. We are still waiting for condemnation from @ShabanaMahmood the new Home Secretary (she represents the neighbouring constituency) and @ukhomeoffice that have been approached by @BBCNews We are unable to share details of the vicious assault by two white men as we need to protect the identity of the victim and her family and not to jeopardise the police investigation by @WMPolice  Thank you to @SikhYouthUk for supporting the victim and her family and @GNGSmethwick for liaising with @WMPolice and holding a public meeting today to reassure the local Sikh community with a rise in violent racist attacks in recent weeks in the West Midlands. @Keir_Starmer needs as part of the reset to honour his video promise of addressing Anti-Sikh hate ignored by successive governments since 9/11 24 years ago.
