So after years of microphone activism, studio anger, and “everybody is clueless except me” Aisha Yesufu finally test her popularity. From ADC to NDC like a footballer on emergency loan transfer, yet the result remained the same. The painful part? It was not even political heavyweights that stopped her. Na one calm old woman, Mama Amanda Pam, carry slippers of democracy pursue noise out of her senatorial race. 😂😂 For years, Aisha Yesufu has insulted Presidents, Governors, Senators, Parties, Supporters, Journalists, and probably NEPA officials too. On TV, she sounded like Nigeria was just waiting for her to rescue everybody. Politics is a very wicked teacher. Twitter likes are not votes. Television appearances are not structure. Noise is not grassroots. And insults don’t automatically become popularity. One thing this election proved is that Nigerians can clap for you online and still retire you politically offline. Brutal. Mama Amanda Pam no even argue too much. She simply entered the ring like old-school aunties that don’t shout before disciplining stubborn children. One clean electoral uppercut… gbas gbos finished. 🥊😂 Now the same people that told us “structure is overrated” have discovered that polling units are not organized by hashtags and emotional interviews. Nigeria politics no be podcast session. Aisha went from: “I will change Nigeria!” to “Please where exactly did the votes go?” 😭😂 Attached pictures: Mama Amanda Pam, FCT NDC Senatorial Candidate winner and Aisha Yesufu the defeated aspirant. © Adegboyega

My parents are no longer together, but they still communicate from time to time because of me. My mum lives in Lekki, Lagos, while my dad stays in Abuja. Most of their conversations are always about my school fees, my upkeep, and how I’m doing in school. Apart from that, both of them moved on with their separate lives after the marriage ended. Ever since their divorce, my mum made it clear that she had no plans of getting married again. Instead, she preferred enjoying her freedom and spending time with different men. At first, I tried not to judge her because life after divorce can be difficult, but deep down, it always bothered me whenever a new man started coming around the house. One evening, my mum brought home a man named Emeka. The moment he stepped out of his brand-new black Range Rover Sport in front of our compound, I could already tell he was wealthy, confident, and used to getting whatever he wanted. He was calm, soft-spoken, and looked far older than the men my mum usually dated. To my surprise, he spent the night in our house and left the next morning. I didn’t question my mum because I didn’t want any trouble. But things became strange a few weeks later when Emeka returned again. This time, my mum called me into the sitting room where both of them were seated. She started smiling in a way that instantly made me uncomfortable. Then she told me that Emeka was interested in me and wanted to marry me if I agreed. I was shocked. The first thing that came into my mind was the night he slept in our house. I immediately asked my mum if he wasn’t the same man who had spent the night with her weeks earlier. Instead of getting angry, she casually admitted it and said that the moment Emeka saw me that day, he changed his mind about her and became interested in me instead. Emeka quickly supported her story and insisted that nothing happened between them. Honestly, I don’t even know what to believe anymore. Part of me feels my mum may be hiding the truth because of the money and luxurious lifestyle attached to him. Another part of me feels uncomfortable imagining myself with a man who was once close enough to spend the night in my mother’s house. Even if nothing happened between them, the whole situation feels wrong and confusing to me. Now I’m stuck between fear, doubt, and pressure. Emeka keeps acting like a gentleman, my mum keeps encouraging me to accept him, but my heart refuses to feel at peace about it. I keep asking myself whether I’m overthinking or if my instincts are trying to protect me from something deeper. What would you do if you were in my position? #RelationshipStories #FamilyDrama #LagosStories

I heard that many Northerners actually prefer camel meat to ram during Sallah celebrations, and someone even said once you taste camel meat, you may end up liking it more than ram. Now I’m curious, how true is this? Is camel meat really sweeter or tastier than ram meat? Where are my Northern friends???

One thing I truly admire about Germans is their honesty. There’s a pretty German girl I’ve noticed once or twice before, always carrying a Goyard handbag, one of those expensive brands you often see with footballers, easily around €2,500. Today, my daughter and I were on the bus when she stepped in. I couldn’t help but point to her bag and say, “That’s quite an expensive bag.” Without hesitation, she smiled and said, “Yes but it’s fake.” That simple, straightforward honesty is exactly what I admire.

@kenkenlewu That shouldn't be an issue anyway. I think the man missed the point, maybe she's trying to make him understand that it's for the house project so he will not use the money for something else. If she contributed towards d projet or not d 🏠 still belong 2 her

My colleague rejected a ₦3 million gift his wife sent him because of the transaction narration. According to him, he woke up to the alert, praised her endlessly, and even became extra loving in the bedroom before finally logging into his bank app to check the money properly. That was when he saw: “Contribution for the house project.” Immediately, his mood changed. He returned the money to her with the narration: “Contribution for the house project rejected.”
