@j_fishback B is just inflation. C might be a waste of money and rural areas are dying out anyway. Best bet is to probably invest in a space program or any project that requires innovation.

Would you rather spend $200 billion to bomb Iran or…? A: give every teacher in America a $62,500 bonus B: provide downpayment assistance for 20 million young families C: build 1,300 rural hospitals

@gatorboyleo @TheDunkCentral @JakeLFischer I think it’s more of a guaranteed floor ready to contribute on a winning team kind of thing. I’m always a best available guy but for a team fresh off the finals that could be the mindset

The Indiana Pacers would reportedly consider drafting Cam Boozer No. 1, per @JakeLFischer “No one in the NBA that I’ve consulted projects any sort of dramatic draft night fall for either Peterson or Boozer. When it comes to Boozer, in fact, there is a sentiment among some rival teams that the Duke star would be Indiana’s preferred selection even if the Pacers were to come away with the No. 1 overall pick because of his potential fit alongside Pascal Siakam and newly acquired Ivica Zubac.” (Via open.substack.com/pub/marcstein/…)

Just imagine somebody about as good of a scorer as Luka is right now but 10x more athletic and guarded 1-5 That’s what Heat fans got to witness with Prime LeBron James.

@oneofunknown @olympicbean One was in the west and the other in the east. Kobe only played 66 games. Lamar Odom was good. They had no bigs. Cleveland had three bigs better than any of the Lakers.

@RoadtotheGoat @Jacobtheclipper He doesn’t need a full skyhook but even a baby hook would be nice. All he has to do is catch the ball anywhere in the lane and immediately hook it

@Jacobtheclipper It's me or every season you made this same tweet asking Wemby to work skyhook instead shooting 3 Now, I have a question: which other player used the "skyhook" as his go-to move, besides Kareem?

@AmareS66010429 @SportsStatsFan Draymond worked because he was maxed in a limited role and he was willing to just scene for Steph and play in the short role. He also matched that with defense.

Steph Curry won two titles where his best teammate was Draymond Green. Is there anyone else that won two titles with a weaker 2nd best player? 2015: 11.7pts 8.2reb 3.7ast 2022: 7.5pts 7.3reb 7.0ast And yes, Draymond had more impact than Klay on both teams and basiclly every year since 2015. While a great defensive player, Green doesn't compare to Anthony Davis, Wade, Pippen, Kobe, Kareem, etc. But it's also true that a lesser player can just be a better fit for what your star player needs.

@SportsStatsFan @stay_humble_64 Also, 522 minutes over 5 years is not long. Also, Klay tripled those minutes playing without Draymond or Steph. It is obvious who Kerr trusted more. Draymond no doubt was good for Steph though. If you look at Curry’s with and without Draymond there is a dramatic drop.

You seriously can’t say that the team playing better when Draymond plays game than when Klay plays while also the team plays worse when Draymond doesn’t play than Klay not playing isn’t evidence Draymond was better for the team. In addition, its not even remotely close when we also look at the the teams performance using on off data as well which I linked it. Why be like this? This is very clear cut.

@TheGOATSofball The whole point is to redraft based on talent. Those who don’t have Iverson as the second best player are crazy!

Re-drafting the greatest draft class in NBA history and it still wasn't easy. Do you take Steve Nash and his floor IQ or Allen Iverson and his relentless scoring? Do you go with the flash of Stephon Marbury, or the defense of Camby or O'Neal? Leave Shareef Abdul-Rahim out of the top 10? Tough choices still but the number one pick was a no-brainer..

It is still a meaningless stat that media tries to push and folks like you start dick riding and tell others the typical bail out response "yal dont know ball" if anyone has an opinion different from urs.

@Utdwavee @W4LKari Actually, we don’t know if he is more efficient. Choosing to shoot less shots and having higher efficiency does not make you a better scorer. If KD shot 25 shots a game I imagine his efficiency would fall. How far is the question.

@JuggernautBron @PONTA6565 No, just saying people will start using all types of stats to discredit what you lived and observed. They are going to tell you Jokic was a better all around offensive player, and your only argument will be rings. I know LeBron was better but history might not.

@BSO @KnowbodysTweets He could average 40. It’s a few ppl i think could honestly. We had scorers but Kobe was the only one to really had that instinct to keep scoring/shooting but wasn’t efficient like Jordan. If LeBron wanted to in his prime could’ve. KD if he was more aggressive.

@BSO @FateOfDUniverse Jordan had elite endurance. Mikal bridges played like 82 games on 37 minutes. Jordan could definitely play 40. It would be a special year but he could do it

@FateOfDUniverse The pace would one limited his mins. The 3s would bring down his shooting % and he was averaging 10 FTAs in the 90s. It would likely be the same. He would be right where he was 30-35
