Any and all discussion about the airplane is a ridiculous smokescreen being used as a valid excuse when it is not.
Just like the 3rd period of a game, postgame media is not optional (for many reasons, but to simplify, because it is for the fans). You cannot play two periods and then say, well, we have to go because the plane is leaving.
What if the game had gone to OT? What if there was a review that delayed the game for a few more minutes? Heck, what if the game was scheduled at 7:30 instead of 6:30? Would the Golden Knights have just left?
It's nonsense and anyone who takes even a few moments to think critically about it knows.
This was blatant, purposeful disrespect to the media and thus in turn hockey fans and specifically VGK fans. Anyone taking it any other way is either ignorant, brainwashed, or being deliberately callous.

OK, here's the latest on #TortsMediaGate
VGK didn't fly out of SNA as many indicated, which has a hard 10pm curfew. They flew out of LGB, which has a 10pm curfew as well, but planes can leave after 10pm with approval.

John Tortorella declined to speak with the media after advancing to the Western Conference finals. The Golden Knights also didn’t open the dressing room after the game. They brought 1 player into a side room to speak, along with the two who spoke at the podium. I’ve been covering the NHL for nine years and never seen either of those happen once.

Almost 500k players within a couple of hours on launch day for Subnautica 2, and it only gets a 7/10
