@BritishGas why does my account show as closed?!?
Can’t sign into the app, only online.
I’ve not had any email correspondence about this.
How do I resolve this to ensure my energy is not cut?
Can’t understand what and how this has happened!

@MrDanielSmith @StuartShawry @BritishGas My online account also has some strange things going on. Support agent at BG says that everything will be automatically switched from your old account to your new one within 28 days.
The new account is apparently something to do with their expansion and moving to a new system.

@DaleHeuer @StuartShawry @BritishGas Seems I am in the same boat here, my in house display since the change in account seems to be displaying differently as well, says my usage is 0.01p each day.. I take its because of the account switch but interested to see if anyone else has the same experience?

@StuartShawry @BritishGas Just got off a live chat with British Gas. Apparently they emailed us about this. The accounts are being switched over to their new system and it takes up to 28 days to update everything.

@DaleHeuer @BritishGas I've got this exact same problem. @BritishGas saying I've been moved to a new billing format. My account now saying I have made no payments, i cant log in to the app as its saying I'm no longer a customer, no usage details and I'm wondering where my £500 credit has gone to.
