Read this comment and sign the petition. People seeking out exercise physiology services are making a positive health change that ultimately results in less government money spent on ill health, yet they are stung by taxes. chng.it/bXKkhsZT via @ChangeAUS

@MaryLloyd4 Head to ESSA.org.au to find an AEP near you. Click on cancer as a special interest and it will show only those AEPs who work in Oncology.

Without that, I would not be where I am now - at the gym every day, and feeling fitter than I was at diagnosis. So to anyone going through chemo or supporting someone who is ... ask about being referred to an exercise physiologist.

This is Sarah. She's why I feel so strong after a year of treatment. During chemo she kept me moving, even when it was hard. Because of her, I got back on my feet faster and fitter. All #cancer patients should be referred to an exercise physiologist, and have a fitness program.

@DaleIschia Did you change the wifi name or password of your network? Try resetting the Arlo Q camera and add it back to your network. You may contact Arlo support for assistance at 1 408-638-3750. ^RM

@ArloSmartHome I previously connected an Arlo Q at work then set up a base station at home with Arlo Pro 3. When I tried to turn on the Arlo Q again at work it no longer connected. I have tried to create a seperate login. Still not connecting. Please help.

1/ Many of you ask me why I take the COVID-19 outbreak so seriously. Current numbers of cases and deaths are *not* why. 👇 A thread on why I’m worried and what I do personally in this situation.

More than 105 bush and grass fires continue to burn across NSW, 59 still to be contained. 7 fires are at Watch and Act. Firefighters will take advantage of more favourable conditions today and over coming days to construct and consolidate containment lines. #nswrfs #nswfires

Cardiorespiratory fitness and cancer in women: A prospective pilot study. In this sample of 184 women, every 1 MET increase in aerobic capacity was associated with a 20% lower risk of cancer incidence and a 26% reduction in cancer mortality. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/31534820

ESSA statement identifies the contribution of EPs in cancer care. @COSAoncology calls for patients to be prescribed exercise, @ESSA_NEWS calls for patients to be referred to EPs to individualise the prescription & maximise the therapeutic effect. Available bit.ly/2P5vvYD

@DaleIschia @_sarahweller @ExOncTc That is an interesting proposition! That way blood flow would be already elevated when chemo starts. I was only saying start after to rule out any acute reactions to the chemo before starting exercise (which is what @DrKateEds & @drbobbycheema said they did in their pilot study)

@_sarahweller @ExOncTc Good question. I am usually a fan of "the higher the better" approach but the animal data show that moderate intensity is all that is needed for a 200% increase in blood flow. It will also make the intervention more accessible to more pts.
