Tomorrow the San Diego County Board of Supervisors is voting to partner with the Mexican Consulate to help people in this country illegally fight their deportation cases. With your tax dollars. Out of your libraries, health clinics, and county offices.
That's crazy.
Our County government, the one you pay for, wants to team up with a foreign consulate to help people stay here who broke federal law to get here. Not legal immigrants. Not citizens who are struggling. People who entered illegally.
This isn't compassion. It's a county government picking a fight with the feds, on your dime, alongside another country.
San Diegans are generous. El Cajon is generous. We've welcomed immigrants from all over the world who came here the right way. But there's a line between welcoming people who follow the rules and spending public money to protect people who didn't.

PG&E and @Tesla have just announced that the Cybertruck, Tesla Powershare Gateway and Tesla Universal Wall Connector have all been approved for participation in PG&E's residential Vehicle‑to‑Everything (V2X) program, marking a major milestone for bidirectional EV integration in California.
This marks the first AC vehicle-to-grid application approved for customers in California, enabling vehicles to connect using much simpler equipment rather than specialized DC infrastructure.
PG&E customers with Cybertrucks will now be able to use their vehicle to power their home in an outage and earn money by selling power back to the electric grid during grid events.
"Electric vehicles can do more than move people—they can help power homes and support the grid," said Jason Glickman, Executive VP of Strategy and Growth, PG&E. "By welcoming Tesla into our residential V2X program, we're expanding customer choice while making California's grid more flexible, resilient, and affordable. Powershare Grid Support enables Tesla vehicles to strengthen our electricity system, while earning money for EV owners."

🚨 Knox County, TN: Last week, Diego Julio Pedro was arrested for Aggravated Arson and is accused of trying to light a home on fire with 11 people inside. He has an immigration detainer hold. "According to an arrest warrant, Pedro was captured on video carrying a container of ignitable liquid to the front porch of the home, pouring it out, igniting it and then running away." "The warrant states Pedro and one of the victims had an ongoing dispute over a 'perceived money debt.'"

NEW: ICE confirms that the suspect arrested in Houston, TX for allegedly using a sledgehammer to bludgeon a coworker to death is a Venezuelan illegal alien who was caught and released at the border by the Biden administration in November 2023. ICE has placed a detainer request on Josue Abraham Chirino-Leonice with Harris County, TX law enforcement. He was arrested on April 12th after police say he was found driving around in the victim's vehicle after he used a sledgehammer to beat the victim to death while they were renovating a house together. ICE statement: “This criminal illegal alien — who never should have been allowed into the country in the first place — is accused of savagely beating a co-worker to death with a sledgehammer and leaving him to die in a house they were renovating together. Our officers are working tirelessly to restore integrity to our nation’s immigration system to bring an end to the carnage and unnecessary suffering in this country that’s caused by criminal illegal aliens, and we won’t rest until we’ve accomplished that mission.”
