@mhat I seem to remember a tweet from one of the Riak folk around how FE should just give up and implement a CRDT replication protocol on top of websockets.

Observations of the week: Long lived Single Page Apps are (often?) database replicas with complex filters. To coordinate and deduplicate work across multiple tabs folks attempt implement leader elections backed by local storage. FE dev converges on distributed systems dev.
