What a load of nonsense. The far left has been strengthened, not the centre-left. The Social Democrats have had their worst election since 1903, and former PM Mette Frederiksen has lost 19,000 personal votes compared to the last election. The Danish People’s Party has seen the largest increase of any party compared to the previous election. Several Danish media outlets and commentators are calling them “the biggest winners.” They are now back at their normal level after being on the brink of collapse at the last election.

Essentially everything I’ve read on this app about the Danish election has been borderline fake news, designed to make it look like a big victory for the right wing. It really wasn’t, by any means. It is 100% misleading, and if anything, the centre-left has been strengthened. It makes me wonder whether the coverage is just as misleading for politics in other European countries. It probably is, and you have to account for that on an ongoing basis. X has become an alt-right propaganda platform. And I say that as someone who supports the right myself, but I also believe in the truth, not fake news.

@AbdallahNATION I will say a price is a price. I paid more for my games in the N64 ara than I do today, an that is without counting in inflation. It also depends on where you’re at. In Denmark the NShop games was always cheaper than the game price at retail

Since 2012, Nintendo priced digital games the same as physical. 14 YEARS. Same price… minus manufacturing, shipping, and resale value. Now in 2026, digital is $60 instead of $70 & we’re calling that a deal? That’s not a discount. That’s overdue. What do you think?

@KobeissiLetter Alliance reciprocity matters. NATO benefited from U.S. leadership in Ukraine. It’s reasonable for Washington to expect allied support in confronting the Iranian regime’s 47-year conflict with the United States.

Now, suddenly, he wants their help. The nerve. You don’t spend months telling your closest partners to go to hell and then expect them to line up when you snap your fingers. Alliances are built on trust. Trump burned that trust down and now the entire world can see the consequences.

Broadcasters that are running hoaxes and news distortions - also known as the fake news - have a chance now to correct course before their license renewals come up. The law is clear. Broadcasters must operate in the public interest, and they will lose their licenses if they do not. And frankly, changing course is in their own business interests since trust in legacy media has now fallen to an all time low of just 9% and are ratings disasters. The American people have subsidized broadcasters to the tune of billions of dollars by providing free access to the nation’s airwaves. It is very important to bring trust back into media, which has earned itself the label of fake news. When a political candidate is able to win a landslide election victory after in the face of hoaxes and distortions, there is something very wrong. It means the public has lost faith and confidence in the media. And we can’t allow that to happen. Time for change!
