Oh god... these two guys from Ukraine's 30th Mechanized together defended their combat position in the Kramatorsk sector for a YEAR. One of them held on since March 2025, the other one stayed there since November 2025. And then @425Skala recently managed to fight their way to their position and eventually safely evacuate them. Unbelievable.

I try, but at a simple human level I do not see how anyone can mistake this man’s almost supernatural weakness for strength. His weakness is something negative, gravitational, so deep that it can draw in a whole country. But only if we fail to see it. Only if we let it.

הכירו את שר המודיעין האיראני, סיד אסמעיל ח'טיב, שמונה ב-2021 לתפקידו ונותר בו עד היום. בין 2021-2025 כשל משרד המודיעין במבצע לחטיפה ולאחר מכן כשל במבצע להתנקשות בפעילה הפמיניסטית האיראנית מסיח עלינג'אד בארה"ב, ובניסיון להתנקש באינלקטואל הצרפתי ברנר הנרי לוי, והוציא שורה של מבצעים כושלים לחטיפה של מתנגדי משטר ויהודים באירופה. משרד המודיעין אחראי למאבק בריגול, בטרור ופעילות של ארגוני מודיעין זרים באיראן. במאי 2022, חוליה כנראה בשליחות ישראל התנקשה בסגן מפקד יחידה 840 של כוח קודס של משמרות המהפכה בירי באור יום בטהראן. ביולי 2024 חיסלה ישראל את הניה בבית האירוח של משמרות המהפכה בטהראן. לאחר החיסול, המשטר עצר עשרות אנשים, בהם ממשרד המודיעין. כמה ימים לפני החיסול, ח'טיב התגאה בהישגים של המשרד בפירוק רשתות טרור ורשתות של המוסד. וכמובן, מלחמת 12 הימים הבהירה כמה משרד המודיעין כשל במשימתו. למרות זאת, ח'טיב לא פוטר. במקום זאת, בתקופת ראש הממשלה ראיסי, חברו של ח'טיב, התקציב של המשרד הוגדל פי עשר (!). אין לח'טיב שום הכשרה במודיעין, בצבא, או במאבק בריגול. הוא מונה לשלל תפקידים ובסופו התפקיד הרם הזה בזכות היותו תלמיד של ח'מנאי בעבר, ומקורב אליו מאוד עד יום מותו של ח'מנאי. עוד עליו thecipherbrief.com/column_article…
