@labourpress @TiceRichard @Nigel_Farage Have you notice how the rich have minor errors with tax, always in their favour, must be catching.
English

That's quite a "minor administrative error".
This doesn't wash at all. It's time for answers @TiceRichard @Nigel_Farage.

Exclusive: @Nigel_Farage and @ZiaYusufUK will tomorrow announce plans to hold a national inquiry into the record number of migrants who arrived between 2021 and 2024.
The probe will have the power to compel witnesses to give evidence.
Their chief targets? Boris Johnson and Dame Priti Patel.
Party sources said the inquiry would consider “whether their gross negligence in office amounted to criminal conduct”.
This is going to be an almighty row.
The Tories have claimed it is “cheap party political theatrics”.

Hi @CrossCountryUK can you explain why 4 separate passengers have all been given the exact same seat reservation for the 17:05 Edinburgh to Birmingham train? I’ve got on at Alnmouth and found someone in my seat and he said I’m the 3rd person since Edinburgh to show his the same

Has anyone ever actually thrown a bucket of sand over a raging fire? Is this a uniquely British thing? I've been around the block in both our military and police for decades, and I've never heard of it. People just use it to put out cigarettes. Tell me I'm wrong? #FFS

English

@YesterdaysBrit1 Very little plastic packing, cardboard. Bottles returnable. Anything that could be resused was, if it could feed chickens-pigs it did, if it could burn onto the fire it went. And if the roads froze the ashes went onto the road.

These were commonplace in the seventies. One per household, into which went everything. And if it was ever too full, my dad - may he rest in peace - would stamp down hard on its contents to create a little bit more space to empty even more potato peelings, newspapers, egg shells and whatever else we threw into it.
No recycling those days. And a hell of a lot less packaging. And it didn't have a detrimental effect on living in Britain.
Now, five decades later, we must recycle ♻️ our used yogurt pots and empty Coke cans, otherwise the green brigade will throw a tantrum. I'm not convinced that recycling our waste is going to change things for millions of British people.
Voting Restore would be more beneficial, as would having a police force that actually policed.
You see, there are more important things than having three bloody wheelie bins outside of your house.
Goodnight. Sleep well. Until tomorrow 👊

@MortgageMikeN2 The tories made housing a way of making money, instead of a home.

@BriefcaseMike Why are these silly awards? on TV anyway. Rubbish.
English

Good that the Olivier theatre awards are getting an early evening slot on BBC2 today after years consigned to late night on ITV which I always thought was a disgrace. West End theatre has always been one of the jewels in our cultural crown. #OlivierAwards

@chilternbear11 Can you not park on a road that has cycle lanes?
English

I was in #Bridgwater last week and saw a new ‘cycle lane’ has pinched all the parking, although a few drivers still park on it, and as I waited by the bridge looking down the road for almost an hour I did not see one bicycle. Like the scheme in Clevedon this is pointless.
