@1109Patricia Hey I’m a big fan of what your laying down but can’t Trump make these announcements on Truth Social. Can other people in the government get this information on X? I know the news media isn’t going to cover it but there are very easy way around them to get the news out.

Admiral Brad Cooper’s been in the Navy since ‘89, so 37 years of service now. He’s the head of CENTCOM and just testified this week. He said in the 30 months before Operation Epic Fury kicked off, Iran and its proxy groups hit U.S. troops and diplomats over 350 times, basically every third day, killing four American service members and wounding nearly 200 more. This is exactly what he was laying out before the operation started. The Pentagon and CENTCOM tracked those attacks, but they were mostly low-level rocket and drone strikes from Iranian proxies in Iraq and Syria. A lot of them caused minor injuries or none at all. The media was heavily focused on the Gaza war at the time, and the administration didn’t highlight the numbers publicly, probably didn’t want to take the focus off Gaza. Admiral Cooper just laid out the full tally this week in Senate testimony. It’s classic: the public often hears about these things after the fact when someone testifies. So the focus was to be kept on Gaza by the media.

@DanielTroupe2 @Pyeholio @SBakerMD Fresh meat has a 1 to 1 protein to glycogen ratio, not the aged stuff you get at the grocery store, the kind where you kill an animal and eat it. Look it up.

Can anyone from the nutrition academic community explain why 10s of thousands of people doing carnivore, not eating any fresh fruit or vegetable for months, years and even decades have not developed scurvy? If it was down to eating fruits and vegetables then surely almost all of them would be dead by now!

@RobinKylemusic @Pyeholio @SBakerMD Huh? “Fresh meat” has a high carb content, how do you figure? It can contain traces of glycogen from stored animal glucose but it’s a teeny tiny amount.

@Pyeholio @SBakerMD They have a genetic polymorphism that keeps them out of ketosis, they also consume lots of fresh meat which has a higher carb content. The body can survive all sorts of stuff but thriving should be the goal.

@paleochristcon I don’t know what the wood coalition is, but I believe, turning people away from a violent religion is better for society and the person as a whole, but sadly it doesn’t help when it comes to their eternal position.

If there was a group of mormons turning Muslims away from Islam and towards mormonism would the non-denominationals be just as supportive as they are with the Wood coalition? If the answer is no then you now understand the orthodox position.

A runaway trolley is speeding toward five people tied to the tracks, but pulling the lever will divert it onto another track where one person is tied down — except that one person is a doctor carrying organs that would save six dying patients, one of whom is the scientist who will cure a pandemic caused by a virus engineered to stop an AI that became self-aware after being trained on simulations of moral dilemmas. You can instead push a large man off a bridge to stop the trolley, but the large man is your future self sent back in time after discovering that the five people on the tracks eventually become dictators who start a nuclear war that wipes out humanity — except one secretly adopts a child who grows up to prevent an asteroid from destroying Earth in 200 years. Meanwhile, the trolley company is unionized, the tracks run through private property, the organs were harvested from clones who may or may not have souls, the AI insists it is conscious and begs you not to kill anyone because suffering is immoral, a utilitarian philosopher says sacrificing one is mathematically correct, a deontologist says touching the lever is murder, a virtue ethicist asks what a good person would do, and a contractarian points out nobody signed up to be in trolley experiments in the first place. Complicating matters further, the trolley is powered by a kitten whose happiness level directly determines the stability of spacetime, and every second you hesitate creates a parallel universe where Reddit users argue about whether you made the wrong choice forever.

Showing up 15 minutes early for an interview is basically trespassing. Our receptionist notified me that a UX designer was waiting in the lobby at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. slot. I walked out and asked why he was trying to steal company time before he was even on the official payroll. He said he just wanted to account for traffic and make a solid first impression. I told him that aggressive punctuality indicates a fundamental inability to accurately estimate project timelines. He asked if he should go wait in his car until the exact minute. I said no, the damage to his cultural fit score was already permanently done. I made him sit facing the lobby wall until exactly 10:00 a.m. so he could think about his schedule. Then I canceled the interview entirely because his anxious energy was too disruptive.

@micah_erfan It looks good, no complaints from me but I don’t understand, if humans are involved how can they be a “non-partisan” agency. Yes I know that it means it’s not directly tied to a party but those humans are still going to be partisan.

Iowa has one of the fairest maps in the country. They got it through a truly exceptional set of unique rules: (1) Countries cannot be split. (2) A completely non-partisan agency draws maps. (3) This agency cannot look at most demographic data (including the partisan makeup of an area) or the addresses of incumbents. (4) State senate districts must follow the boundaries of Congressional districts. (5) Each state senate district contains two house districts that are fully contained within its boundaries.
