@mrmujac By voting on it what I mean is if women decide that they do not want to run further should the men’s distance be decreased without their say so? The future of the sport could be at risk. I think the clubs and athletes should be consulted on what they want for their sport.

@DannyBrock1 A lot of people would agree with Danny...I just don't think that is equality and I don't think it's a voting issue. Otherwise...let's have a vote on all things regarding equality...education, jobs, racial background, healthcare...there would be an uproar. Rightly so...

I see that a number of elite women cross country runners are not in favour of equalisation of distances...trying to understand this. It’s obviously my ignorance of the situation...but on the surface I just don’t get it at all...as a male I want equality...unconditionally 🤷‍♂️
