So, here's how democracy works: Last time there was an election, the party that won, and formed a government didn't have, as part of it's election manifesto - the abolition of the monarchy, just stopping oil, removal of the age of consent, open borders etc etc. You might have voted for a party that supports one or all of those things, you might even have stood as a parliamentary candidate on that ticket - who knows, but, since this is a democracy, and you're in the minority, you lose. You have to accept the results! Democracy is not some spoilers charter that means you can just try to trash everything the winning vote supports. Disruptive protests should not be allowed.

We have just been told that the police will be taking no further action. This has been a disgraceful episode and we will be speaking to lawyers about taking legal action. I also expect a full inquiry into why they repeatedly lied to us and who authorised the arrests.
