I don't think Zach really thought he was going to win the primary and now he doesn't know what to do. Good for him for prioritizing his Kansas family...but he's going to be a terrible public servant if Iowa elects him because his family never planned on him being in office.

The "line of attack" isn't that Lahn spends too much time with his kids- it's that he doesn't live in Iowa, which he admitted when he said that if he wins, he will move there. Seems significant. Seems like something Deace should have paid attention to when he was advising Steen.
