Mamdani's ethnic cleansing of NYC (the weird map he circulated), and its history has many purposes in furthering his cause of cultural Marxism. Another overlooked one is that white ethnics, despite racism, fought to assimilate for the most part. Yes there were ethnic enclaves but by and large, they fought to become Americans, and yes they fought. I know the Italian American experience for obvious reasons, but I'll start there: My father gained entry to the very union that denied membership to my grandfather because of the vowel at the end of his name. There are Italian neighborhoods in NYC not just because of preference, but also because of redlining. Mario Cuomo was a brilliant law student but couldn't get a job at a big white-shoe law firm because of his last name. Yet we all because "Americans" and better off for it. If you rewrite that history, you can start a new one that the cultural Marxists are aiming for

If i was a business owner anywhere near a bad neighborhood, I would want these cameras. And I would want whoever is cutting them down arrested and incarcerated indefinitely because they are probably directly responsible for most of the local crime problems. By one means or another.

If it costs $10,000 to fix an apartment's problems, but the rent is $1000, and $900 of that covers costs and taxes, that only leaves $100 a month to cover the $10,000. It'll take 100 months, or 8 years. And that's assuming no new expenses pop up. You want landlords to go broke.

@O__V__P My friend - Sara Gideon was doing better against Collins! And she was doing better in September!

In NYT's Sept 2020 poll, Sara Gideon was up 49-44. In this poll, Platner is losing white non college voters 59-36. People who took a big gamble that an unvetted candidate who codes working class would do better with working class voters seem wrong, according to this poll. But here we are and we need this seat, so my suggestion is that instead of doing Epstein ads attacking Dems more than Susan Collins, they work to unite all Dems. And remind people that Collins takes strategic no votes but is part and parcel of Trump's majority. She is a lynchpin for his presidency. She is going to vote against Trump more and more to look independent. Prepare for that.

What makes my blood boil about rent control and rent stabilization is how many people gleefully support even in spite of how profoundly evil it is on its face. It's such a blatant violation of the landlord's fundamental rights. The sheer greed of the tenants is staggering.

One of the core questions of the novel I’m working on is “could a woman campaign & communicate like Mamdani?” and the pool jump is a good example of why I think the answer is no, not really, because what could she wear to jump in a pool that wouldn’t (sadly) cause the internet to get weird in all kinds of ways??
