Final: Princeton 16, Notre Dame 9 The Tigers were the better team and they proved it, but the Fighting Irish will rue a second quarter in which they were outscored 8-0. They won the other three frames by a goal. Game got away from ND in the second. Couldn't get it back.

@ArminianSociety @AletheiaHS @Zungenrede_ch The Greek word in 1 John 4 is the same one that the same author uses in John 3:16 to describe God's relationship with the "cosmos" (entire created order). It's quite a stretch to turn "God IS agape" into "God really only loves certain people who are 'children.'"

Calvinists love to mock 'free will' here: 'Not taught in Scripture!' 'Self-generated decisions independent of one’s own nature—how is that supposed to work?' 'Decisions out of thin air!' Setting aside unnecessary straw man arguments: Yes, the libertarian position reaches the limits of explanation at a certain point regarding how exactly a person’s decision comes about. It is a metaphysical problem that cannot be exhaustively solved by a Bible verse or philosophy—it is a mystery. I have no problem admitting that. But now, let us look at the other side, Theistic determinism has a similarly structured problem that I consider far more serious: - God has unchangeably decreed everything from eternity (including every evil deed). - God is not the author of sin (WCF 3.1). - The decree is not based on foreknowledge (WCF 3.2). - God does not infuse evil intentions, nor does He cause them. - The sinner alone contributes the evil and chooses uncompelled (compatibilistically free) according to his nature. The problem: How exactly does the sinner generate an evil intention that corresponds exactly to the decree—down to the smallest detail—if God does not cause it and does not rely on foreknowledge? It is not enough that any sinful intention is contributed; it must be exactly the one corresponding to the decree. How does God ensure that precisely this intention is generated without causing it Himself? This inexplicable problem is, in my view, far more serious: It ultimately implies God as the causal author of evil after all. It raises massive questions about God’s goodness and holiness that cannot simply be brushed aside with simple denials. Nor do they disappear when you cast the cloak of mystery over them. One side has a philosophical problem—I can live with that. The other side has a theological problem—I cannot live with that. What is the decisive point for you? @Soteriology101 @RevReads289 @CherylSchatz @ProvisionistP @ArminianSociety @DPGBehler

As close as the finish for the win was yesterday at @IMS for the #Indy500 , this was the battle for 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Unbelievable!

Hello Indiana. It’s so great to be back in your beautiful state. I’m headed to Yorktown to visit a young man that recently completed our 50 Yard Challenge in his city. He mowed 50 free lawns for the elderly , disabled , single parents and veterans. He will be receiving a brand new mower, weed eater and blower.

@DLand91 Why do people keep making illegal modifications to their cars when the potential gain is negligible and the penalty is severe? In Collet's case, he's going from starting 10th all the way to the back.
