So again, You are grasping at anything you can to discredit me and my Airmen.
You make general assumptions and even admit that some Airmen actually did come under fire.
In fact, I was in Nasiriyah when the Jessica Lynch convoy was attacked. I had flown in with special ops, ahead of my first convoy to scout, survey and secure the route. Maybe you don’t think that Lynch convoy saw combat either.
You know what I didn’t do? I didn’t stop to write a book about it and post it on SM, I was a bit busy.
You were not there, and like most combat veterans, we don’t share our experiences in detail and I won’t.
War is horrific. I was a commander in combat. I was not there to earn medals or awards. I was there to do a job. My unit was later recognized with the Valor Award. That doesn’t just happen accidentally.
You post that I’m either a Fraud or a Liar. Very interesting, since you weren’t there and only make assumptions. There is a third option that you left off. That you are absolutely wrong and your sole purpose is to discredit me and my service no matter how many lies and falsehoods you need to create.
I wonder which candidate you support that you’re so desperate to create a fake narrative.
That article was written, after I had left and things had calmed down, by a Capt who was not even there in the first surge. So of course, he had no reference to what we engaged with. I myself, had no time to document my every action, nor did I desire to. Although if you search, there were articles written by my ABC imbedded media team during that initial surge.
