My position on kids in the transfer portal will remain the same.. Show me a coach that complains about a kid transferring IN to his school. Until that happens, I don’t wanna hear any complaints about transfers. The game is the game.

@lt4kicks Lie: they were never unpaid. They were given tuition, room, and board. All the kids with 1/2 million in college loans know the value.

Built a multi billion dollar industry on unpaid labor (college athletes). Now paying them is unsustainable? That is not a system problem, that is accountability. It’s not about economics it’s about control. The only thing unsustainable is a model built on uncompensated labor.

For a city as rich in high school basketball talent, Chicago struggling in the college and professional levels is baffling to me.

I still say for most kids the way to go is Community college for 2 years and pay as you go. Get your Associates and transfer to a state school. You literally graduate paying 25K or less. You don't need Democrat handouts. Just a plan.

But with a wealth tax in place, Jeff would have never reached $222B. Every year Jeff would have had to sell Amazon stock to pay your wealth tax. Eventually Jeff wouldn't have control of Amazon. And without him calling the shots, the company that employs 500K people in the US wouldn't have become what it is. That would have been a significant net reduction in taxes collected by the Govt.
