Restore Britain has just released our energy policy paper outlining how we can make energy cheap, reliable and abundant. This is a key step on the path to restoring Britain.

@realninawysocka If this is genuine (as seems likely given the man at top right recording as well as consistent fonts on the signs), then good for the guard who should be commended. ALL face coverings must be banned in public, and if Muslims and Antifa are most affected, then it's a good result.

Video circulating shows Tesco security refusing entry to a woman wearing a full niqab (face veil) at a UK store. Staff cited security and identification policies; “you can’t properly identify someone with their face completely covered. Shoplifting is exploding across Britain. Face coverings make it far easier for thieves (and worse) to operate without consequence.” Many retailers already have ‘no face covering’ rules for exactly this reason. Should UK supermarkets and shops enforce strict no-face-covering policies for security? Or must they accommodate religious demands even if it puts staff and customers at risk?

I totally agree all face coverings should be illegal. The balaclavas too!!! The Quran does not state that women should cover their faces. If you are offended and don’t like the rules then you are not being forced to stay in a country that doesn’t allow it …. Laws need to change. Criminals take advantage of it too how do you recognise a criminal when they can freely walk the streets with their faces covered???????

@HQNewsNow @MalcolmNance Because obviously China would be less powerful if it takes control of the bulk of the world's microchip production. As a bonus the USA's influence around the world is would be bound to increase when other countries see the USA hang a long term ally out to dry.

@RichRautenstra1 @adgirlMM It could be complicated if he did say he would publish them. If he'd said that they could argue any "damage" was inevitable, not purely down to their actions. I expect lawyers will still find a way to get themselves a big paycheque from this, they'll be well paid whatever happens

Proving damge is one of the most basic rules in civil law (both in the U.S. and in most common-law countries). The damage actually happened (you suffered a real loss — financial, physical, emotional, property, etc.). The defendant’s actions caused it (there’s a direct link between what they did and the harm you suffered).

Let me get this straight. Trump, the only president since Nixon not to release his tax returns, and who promised he would release his tax returns when he was president, is suing the government for $10 billion dollars in "damages" for leaked tax returns which reveal his corruption. And his DOJ, which is run by his personal lawyer who he appointed as "Acting AG," is going to settle. So the American people are now gong to personally pay a corrupt president $10 billion of our hard earned tax dollars, because his feelings got hurt when his shady tax returns were leaked? Got it. 👌

@Hicksboson35 @adgirlMM Given the weird way legal systems operate, if Mr Doe had clearly stated he was going to publish them anyway, that could weaken any case he may have had. "Surely, as plaintiff's stated intention was to make these public..." It's an odd one, I guess they'd claim no harm no foul.

@adgirlMM Replace the word trump with "john doe." Would Mr. Doe have a case if his tax returns were illegally leaked?

@SteveMclar3n @LoveCompTech @JustMyOpinion_2 @TheRealJamieKay There might be more infrastructure to get around inside London (when it isn't on strike) but travel between London and other UK cities is dire. Rail links are unreliable and poor value for money. Driving in drops you into the stupid motoring tax and the exorbitant parking prices.

@LoveCompTech @JustMyOpinion_2 @TheRealJamieKay There’s more infrastructure to get around London today then it was in the 2000’s. The hell are you even saying. The only morons who don’t like London are racists and reform voters who got swayed by fucking AI and a twat named Farage.

@JamesCleverly @sharrond62 Market behaviour during the Truss era (which had open Strait of Hormuz & no Trump2.0) suggests otherwise. FTSE 100 & 250 plunged while she was PM. Both are up since Kier became PM. Ftse100 by nearly 25% and FTse 250 by about 10% Bonds are reacting to bigger global events, not KS

@banthebbc @RupertLowe10 That's not sensible. Any candidate could be easily nobbled by Russia, China or whoever. They'd just have to wait until a month or so before election and persuade some nation they have influence over (there are many) to award citizenship to them.

@RupertLowe10 Yes and British nationals with other citizenship(s) should not be able to stand either. Renounce your other citizenship(s) if you want to stand for any political office in Britain.

Foreign nationals should not be permitted to stand for election, and a Restore Britain Government would ban it. Reform's Bangladeshi man lost in Portsmouth, but others succeeded. An Indian was elected to the Scottish Parliament, even without a permanent visa to stay in the UK. This is wrong - they should not be allowed to stand. Our position is very straightforward. British elections for British people.
