@VanessaChaseOG This must have been for a non-American market because cigarette commercials on TV in the US have been banned since 1971.

@VanessaChaseOG I seem to remember such ads were banned a whole decade earlier, I certainly don't remember seeing a cigarette ad on TV since at least the early 70s if not earlier.

@VanessaChaseOG Umm I can promise you that that commercial was never shown on American TV! I remember cigarette commercials. Cigarette commercials were banned 1970 in America. I was 11 at the time. Now that might have been shown somewhere else in another country but not in America.

Starsky & Hutch (1975-79) had four different theme tunes during its run, each reflecting a different mood producers wanted for the season. Have a listen and see which is your favourite.

@AndrewKSchlecht When the Thunder made the playoffs for the first time in 2010, they faced the Lakers who I believe were the defending champs at the time. It was specifically the 8-0 run they had late in the 3rd quarter in Game 3. What drew me in was how LOUD the fans were! OKC fan ever since.

AN OKC FAN DUE TO THE MOVIE THUNDERSTRUCK!!! Who can beat this fan origin story?
Daniel Sinni@MrThunder0

@AndrewKSchlecht I live in Australia and I wanted to join my mates in basketball talk, I’d just started playing. They all thought Lebron was cool. Then dad got me to watch Thunderstruck and KD was my player. Then I watched Masked Russ (2015) dribble 94 feet and dunk against the 76ers. OKC since

“Why yes, Mr. PR guy, I'd LOVE to bring the pacing of this highly visual story to a channel-flipping halt with a sound bite from your CEO! Can we do the interview in your company’s incredibly cramped conference room?”

@CoachDanCasey Sooner for life here: I remember watching this game live. There was much yelling and screaming at my house that day.
