I feel like the "red or blue button" pushers can be described by "Exploiters" and "imaginators" where the blue pushers are exploiters and red pushers are imaginators.

If this is true, that means red pushers are more vivid and maybe even empathetic (to themselves), while blue pushers see the world more through models rather than lived in experience.

whereas the blue pushers have a model of the scenario in mind, and they exploit the situation. For them, the win condition is just "get everyone alive, duh" and thus, don't get phased when thinking they might lose because to them, everyone must be similar and wants the ideal.

Red pushers imagine themselves in the scenario vividly and act according to what they'd do with their full emotions. Thus their arguments are like "but if it was real..." and "its the most safest" because they're speaking from their own experience of imagining it.
