If they are sent to a high quality calf ranch, grown properly (key to success IMO), then transition to finish rations at the right time. We are able to average well below 30% on 1000s harvested every year

@JerodMcDaniel Delicate balance. Cow/calf guy drastically underpaid past decade+ but I exercise caution saying “fuck the consumers” as the meat ultimately ends up on a consumers plate and paid for out of a consumers wallet.

For an example, see current cattle market that is unable to recruit new producers despite record high prices. I say good, fuck the consumer and their selfish ways.

If that’s true, why hasn’t price of 🌽 adjusted drastically higher to reflect that? I’ll answer, because in our modern throw away era/mindset, everything is disposable, including producers of things humans need to survive. They’ll pay whatever it takes only after shits broken.
