@SoCal360 @CapitalOne Mine doesn’t work anywhere in Europe or South America. I’ve given up trying. I transfer cash to another bank account with a visa debit. Never had a problem with the visa bot no one internationally accepts discover debits.

For those with Capital One debit card & traveling internationally with it, yesterday was the 1st time ever we couldn’t withdraw any cash using our @CapitalOne debit card after trying multiple ATMs in Hong Kong. We called and were told the card is no longer on the Visa or Mastercard network and is now part of the @Discover network. That explains why none of the ATMs worked here. We’ve withdrawn cash in many countries before without any issues until Capital One recently merged with Discover. The reason we used Capital One was because of their no ATM or foreign transaction fees when withdrawing cash internationally. Looks like we will sign up for another bank now.
