A data center uses as much power as a city! So people want to stop them. But that’s dumb. "Electricity replaces human labor and allows us to do more and better things," says @paigelambermont of @ceidotorg. Here's why we need MORE data centers, not fewer:

@SnazzyLabs I don’t really see the problem, this is something that will provide revenue and jobs to the state of Utah.

Why are Utahns mad? This data center will use more than 2x of the ENTIRE STATE’S current power usage and will be powered entirely by natural gas. It will be placed in the desert which due to topography has extremely limited water and (already) the worst air quality in the USA.
