Nigel Farage stood down many of his Brexit Party candidates to give the Conservatives an election win for the sake of the UK so they could get Brexit done. Rupert Lowe wouldn’t do that. If you can’t see the difference, you are an idiot.

Andy Burnham won an overwhelming victory. It is only fair to recognise that and congratulate him and his team. An impressive campaign, particularly their effort on the ground yesterday in Makerfield which was vast. Fair enough.

As I thought, Burnham had it in the bag, that’s a landslide win.
