It’s very weird to see people pretend Red Dead 2 doesn’t exist just to discredit the GTA 6 hype. GTA 6 is built on top of RDR2, which is widely considered one of the greatest games of all time. That’s why everyone is hyped, not because of GTA 5.

@SynthPotato It terms of hardware and design capabilities, not gonna lie we owe credit to FiveM they elevated gta gameplay to the point rockstar brought them into the team. GTA6 is gonna be even better because of the FiveM community.

@Dee_Batch They said the same shit about Crimson Desert. Ion know if they'll be able to get 60 fps out of it, but I know Crimson Desert and PSSR 2.0 made it a possibility. My guess is they won't reveal what the PF mode does until near release, similar to what the devs of Crimson Desert did.

GTA has a track record of nothing but Great Games and Classics for 25+ years, and people think we need gameplay for 6 to be sold on it. Lmao we know what we’re getting at $100 is worth every penny

@chudofus All those games were written by senior writer Dan Hauser, who is no longer with rockstar since before 2020 so he may have played a part in writing this story but he left long before it was ever finished so it’s someone else picking up pieces of someone else’s story

@TheRedDragon That’s just the way rockstar operates. They’ve stated multiple times over the course of over a decade. They have no interest in exclusivity deals. They’ve told both Microsoft and Sony that that’s why they can only get marketing deals with them. rockstar holds the cards.

🚨 GTA 6 on PS5 is outselling Xbox 6 to 1 I told you Xbox should just be thankful Rockstar made it for that platform at all No wonder why they chose to partner with Sony

@doctagreenman @nuhre_ Also it was 60$ on launch in 96. Not to mention that it is now a collectors item worth even more in good condition. What gta ever has become a collectors item. I can still get gta 1 and 2 for like 30$ together.

GTA 6 would've made its budget back many times over even at $20 a copy. It isn't $100 because it has to be. It's $100 because they wanted to find the ceiling of what consumers would accept, and consumers immediately showed them they could push higher. Nintendo proved the exact same thing. Companies don't set prices based on fairness. They set them based on what they can get away with.
