@mreflow Hermes + Codex is all you need, man. Hermes just works and Codex is.. well.. Codex. Openclaw is a tinkerers dream but it's a fragile and unforgiving beast.

I don't know if this is a skill issue or something... But I've been playing with OpenClaw a ton for the past 4ish months. I feel like lately I'm spending more time troubleshooting issues with it and telling it what it's doing wrong than I am actually getting valuable use from it.

@justorellius This is the trap of only using one provider and looking down on the rest. Makes it hard to accept the truth, even when it's obvious.

Codex is either genuinely a good coding AI, or it’s being hyped excessively until it’s overrated. I’m seriously considering switching to Codex GPT 5.5 because Claude Opus 4.7 hasn’t undergone any significant changes from its previous, What are your thoughts on this?

@chainoflack That's likely part of it, but that's a Codex issue(I use codex a lot), but Codex has this habit of trying to use tools and polluting the context for no good reason.

Codex is so much more stupid than ChatGPT, it's likely something about context, but it really pains me, it's just completely usless when it comes to mind reading.
