Iran kept saying they won't negotiate with Jared Kushner (who they correctly see as an agent of Israel) or with Witkoff (who they think is dumb). They want someone on Vance's level.
And they kept saying they won't negotiate under a US blockade. But a huge group of people believe anything Trump says, even if he says the exact opposite the day before or they after.
Hence: Iran is on its knees begging for a deal and will give us everything we want: as we've been hearing for two months now.

Today, the SBA referred 562,000 borrowers to @USTreasury for collection on $22.2 BILLION in potentially fraudulent pandemic-era loans, marking the LARGEST debt referral in SBA history. The action ends a yearslong de facto amnesty scheme by the Biden SBA, which refused to refer the portfolio to either Treasury or DOJ, even though the loans were both delinquent and internally flagged for suspected fraud. Under the protection of the Biden Administration, none of the borrowers were compelled to repay their debts and fewer than 1,000 faced any inquiry from law enforcement until today. This historic referral would not have been possible without the strong support of the White House Anti-Fraud Task Force. SBA is deeply grateful for the leadership of @VP, @AFergusonFTC, and the partnership of both Treasury and DOJ - which now has the files for review. Trump fell asleep again during a live televised meeting. If Joe Biden had done that, the media would have treated it like a national emergency and run wall-to-wall panic coverage for a week.
But when Trump does it, they look the other way because the clown show keeps their ratings up and their pockets full.
The hypocrisy is disgraceful. The media failed the country, and they know it.
