@vinted please explain why you’re forcing me to return an item I bought, that is damaged and not as described, at my expense, before you’ll give me the refund (minus cost of postage)?! @TradeStandards you agree to terms in good faith. I don’t expect to be out of pocket for this!
English

@thelorryist Yes it’s an utter scam! I paid £300 for one (sold cladding affected flat to cash buyer at huge loss). Was told pack needed due to complexity of property. Pack was just copies of accounts! I believe the buyers’ solicitor also paid a fee to them!! They’ll force you to pay.

After 3 yrs of cladding hell, I finally sold. @LIVGroup continue to hound me with threat of legal action for unpaid service charge. I sold on 02.12.22. SC Paid up in full til 31.12.22. Shared new owners details and they have the address but yet they still chase me. @hilarybennmp

@huntmj28 @Barclays @BarclaysUK @BarclaysUKHelp find the thread, read it and fix this. For the sake of some arbitrary dates and based on the ineptitude of everyone but the applicant. Fix it!

@LeedsDock this is really alarming you’re letting people swim when there’s a thunderstorm!! May as well chuck a couple of electric heaters in the dock as well to keep people warm whilst they swim! Very dangerous
English

Swimmers going in Leeds dock in the middle of a thunder and lightning storm!! Apparently @bradfordcouncil think this is ok, according to the juniors you’ve got running the session! So dangerous! 🤦🏻♀️ I’ve been down to warn them as they were utterly oblivious!

Hi @EOCS_Official @LiamSpender any advice pls, I’m looking to sell my flat to cash buyer so f I can’t find one. Had enough! Would there be any ‘waterfall’ come back if I sell at auction or any other pitfalls (aside from the loss!) you can think of?! Any help much appreciated
English

@LostInSW19 @UKFtweets Thank you! All the reasons I bought the flat still apply: great view, great location, nice apt, but due to serious failings along the line when it was built, and through no fault of our own I’ve (we’ve all) lost a serious amount of cash and even more in mental well-being.
English

Hearing from so many people who now forced to do this.
@UKFtweets this is on you: your crazy lending criteria are single-handedly destroying the flat market.

@HalifaxBank I’ve spoken to 4 people in your mortgage dept so far, over the course of 55 minutes, and counting, and not a single one of them knows about the #BuildingSafetyCrisis. Utterly disgraceful.
English

@GlennSeat How many fraudulent lift, roof and paint repair invoices are coming our way…which due to the way LH works, we’ll have to pay!
English

@BorisJohnson how does it feel to have your world crumble around you? Not nice? Try living everyday in the #BuildingSafetyCrisis. And now you’ve sacked Gove! If you fix this mess NOW so the millions of us can move on with our lives, I’ll vote for you. Deal?

The Home Office will not require owners of high rise buildings to prepare evacuation plans, or make arrangements for disabled residents to escape, abandoning a core recommendation of the Grenfell Inquiry weeks before the fifth anniversary of the fire

@MartinSLewis @ofgem I don’t think you need to apologise for speaking the truth and with passion. Maybe reflect on the delivery (not for me) but never be sorry for the brilliant work you do!
English

I'd like to formally apologise to the @ofgem staff for losing my rag in a background briefing just now and saying its changes are a "fucking disgrace that sells consumers down the river".
I should've behaved better. My ire's institutional not individual, its was inappropriate...

Nearly 3500 high rise blocks have applied to the government’s Building Safety Fund for money to remove cladding. @itvnews has learnt that work’s started on only 7% of those blocks & has been completed on 26 buildings.More than 912 have been rejected/ineligible. Full story at 7pm.

'It's soul-destroying' Thousands of flat owners have been hit by huge bills to fix cladding defects and other safety issues in the wake of the Grenfell fire. Until the problem is resolved, they cannot sell their flats, reports @SarahCorkerNews itv.com/news/2022-05-1…

@GlennSeat @ahillslegal @MrChewie @Conservatives @BorisJohnson Or did they? I’m convinced they rigged the vote!
English

@team_greenhalgh @GlennSeat @stephpike_ He said nonchalantly. You can never be on our side until everyone in your team fully admits leasehdrs are in no way financially or physically responsible for this crisis. We all need full protection in law not salvation. #EndOurCladdingScandal
English

@GlennSeat @stephpike_ Glenn - I’m not your enemy but I’m not your salvation either. I’m on your side + doing my best for #leaseholders and shared owners trapped in this #BuildingSafetyCrisis.
English

How many more hours must we spend on #cladmin?
How many more letters + tweets must we write?
How many more years will we be trapped?
How many more protests must we attend?

@AskVirginMoney NOT CLEARLY ENOUGH! I’ll be closing the account very shortly. You’re a disgrace #virginmoneyscammers
English

@Debbiejaa1 Sorry you feel that way Debbie but that is outlined in our terms and conditions. ^RS
English

@VirginMoney think it’s ok to charge a minimum payment of £25 on an interest free credit card balance, in these times! That’s unheard of! And they think it’s ok to hide behind vague terms! Absolute scammers
