Hard to believe @DMNOpinion called the 4 libraries "underused" when no data on circulation or library visits was presented. They proposed to close the only library in Collin County, which has 55k residents and no rec center, arts center & a high usage vote center. Renner Frankford library was in the top 10 for both circulation & library visits last time I saw the data. They also proposed to close a library that serves as an elementary school's library without even talking to DISD. Not surprisingly, all 4 libraries are in council districts in which the councilmember is supporting the @savecityhall effort and no southern Dallas libraries were proposed, even though the population to library ratio is much higher.

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.
