@RepJeffries Can we start with the minority leader of the house? We're tired of all the drama and whining from people within congress. It's time to get some adults in congress (BOTH sides) to get stuff done. I suggest you don't get paid until you fund other government workers first.

Oh yeah, I’m sure the next thing the American people want after long lines at TSA is to get wrongfully detained, beat up, and harassed by ICE. No blank check for ICE. We need reform & accountability. In the meantime, how about you tell Republicans to just vote to pay TSA.

Today, I voted for the seventh time to reopen TSA and pay our agents and workers. Again, Republicans blocked it. They continue to hold TSA workers and American travelers hostage to protect ICE. We need to set ICE aside while we negotiate for needed reforms, and fund all other elements of DHS: TSA, Coast Guard, CBP, and FEMA.

@RepMikeLevin Section 2 of H.R.22 outlines quite nicely what's required to get a "real ID" which allows you to vote. ALL 50 states now require it, and you need this ID to fly, too. Check out the wording if you need a reminder.

Donald Trump apparently is convinced he can’t win the midterms without making it harder for you to vote. That’s the only crisis the SAVE Act is solving.    Under this bill, your driver’s license is no longer enough to register to vote. You’d need a passport or a birth certificate — documents that cost hundreds of dollars and take months to get.    There is no documented crisis of noncitizens voting. Republicans invented a problem so they could sell you a solution that just happens to keep certain people from the polls.    This bill should be called the SAVE REPUBLICANS Act.

Absolutely! Those who are learning the "art of adulting" should be able to make those decisions, without pressure, from teachers or parents. College is good for some subjects (engineering, the sciences, medical school, etc.). People who go to trade schools often make more money than college grads.

@itsrosesm If you enter the USA illegally, you have broken the law. When you break the law, you've created a criminal act. It's a misdemeanor the first time. If you get deported and come back in again illegally, it's a felony. (8 U.S.C. § 1325)

@DarrigoMelanie If you read H.R.22, it explains (Section 2) that "Real ID's" that went into effect on May 7, 2025 ARE accepted. It even lists what you need to get that ID, which I just did. Easy peasy. See the screenshot that lists the details of what's required.

@PattyMurray Would you be willing to stop receiving paychecks until all those who work for DHS receive their back pay? Someone should create a bill that would require that congress does NOT get paid when other federal workers are shut down because of congress' actions.
